Two-year yields - which more closely reflect monetary policy expectations - hit an intra-day peak of 4.445% on Tuesday, their highest since November.The market seemed to have been getting ahead of itself expecting a pivot to occur from the Fed, it is coming to terms with the fact that the Fed is going to have to be tighter for longer, until theyre really sure that theyve got inflation back under control.

The period we are in is so unprecedented because of the magnitude of last year's market drop and the rebound in the past few months. It doesn't surprise me to see weird numbers with some individual companies, the volatility also shows how difficult it is to predict economic variables and earnings.

It was very special to be able to celebrate his election and the presidency -- those were great years, and my mom was up on the main stage with him, it was kind of overcast and cloudy that day, but pretty much as soon as he took the oath and gave his inaugural address, the skies opened up and it became sunny, leaving people joking, 'wow, is this a sign?'.
