Becoming Human

Adam:
Someone once told me the way to stay true is to suround yourself with good people. But first I had to go back to school! It's hard to keep the vampire in check, but I'm gonna try and live a normal life. I have to hold the line, take school seriously for once and get some qualifications.

Christa:
I thought we are ment to be staying away from each other?

Adam:
I was trying to help you to keep a low profile. You get find out, the chances that I get find out... That is not gonna happen!

Christa:
What are you talking about?

Mr. Swan:
Christa used to be the brightest student in this school. Now you're like all the other asbo's in waiting.

Christa:
Sh*t happens.

Mr. Roe:
Christa and Adam in for cheeking Mr Swan. Well you're only human I suppose. Just get on with your homework quietly.

Christa:
Oh, that's fantastic my life is just one rollover week. I'm not going to sit anywhere near that creep.

Matt:
This creep? You can see me?

Christa:
Yeah you need to work on the whole discreet thing it might help with the stalking.

Matt:
How can you see me?

Christa:
You're not exactly hard to miss.

Adam:
Christa I think we just found out what happened to the missing kid.

Christa:
What he ate him?

Adam:
Check out the missing poster.

Christa:
So you have been gone all that time and noone noticed? How unpopular are you?

Adam:
He is not just unpopular. He is dead.

Matt:
That's me dead as a doorknob.

Christa:
Yeah but we are having a conversation the dead aren't usually so chatty.

Adam:
That's how it works. He's a ghost and we can see him because I'm a vampire and you're a werewolf.

Christa:
I'm not a were... I'm not a werewolf.

Adam:
Anyway let's park this conversation for a while and deal with Timothy Claypole.

Adam:
Ghosts only linger when there is unfinished buisness, get my drift?

Matt:
Well there is my A-levels and I'm only on season three of Lost...

Adam:
No. I mean something unresolved about your death.

Christa:
What?

Adam:
Matt, I think you were murded.

Matt:
Wow. That's harsh.

Adam:
I'm sorry.

Danny Curtis:
Do you seriously think I'd kill someone and walk around like nothing happened?

Matt:
Yeah.

Danny Curtis:
What do you think I am?

Matt:
A Bully.

Danny Curtis:
I'm sarkastic. What can I say? It is a defense mechanism concealing the deeper insecurities.

Christa:
That sounded pretty convincing to me.

Matt:
I'm never gonna leave. I'm never gonna grow up. I'm stuck like this. An ugly duckling, that will never become a swan.

Brandy Mulligan:
I was going to ask you about the missing kid, the one one the posters.

Christa:
Who?

Brandy Mulligan:
Matt, fat lad...

Brandy Mulligan:
Oh... yeah the one with the eggs, what about him?

Christa:
Well I just heared that he is dead.

Brandy Mulligan:
That's awfull... Listen and be honest: Does the top go with the skirt?

Christa:
Why did you let us get through that. Let us believe that it was her?

Matt:
Embarrassed. I thought that if you kept thinking it was her then you wouldn't realise... I'm not looking at her, I'm looking at you. I always looked at you. Every class I looked at you.I've been looking at you for the past three years. You didn't even know I existed.

Matt:
Even before I was invisible to the world. I was invisible to you, but I could see you. And I used to marvel at the fact that noone else could see you how I could see you, an angel walking into monsters. And the last thing that I ever did, an anonymous decleration of love on the toilet wall. I didn't even finish. The last thought that I ever had was of you. And now you know everything. So do with my heart as you will.

Adam:
All the great crime fighters are duos: Holmes and Watson, Batman and Robin, Shaggy and Scooby. They got chemistry, they had something between them and I am not talking about a fat dead virgin.

Christa:
Have you ever looked back at your actions after a drunken night and thought was that really me? Cause that is what a full moon is like the morning after. I wake up with bad and a stare taste in my mouth and I can't remember a thing after wanting to puke. For all I know I could have gone to bed with a good book or I could have torn my family into pieces.

Matt:
I thought you were up against werewolfs.

Matt:
Upon the fact that they can tear you into pieces they are part-timers, once a month. We have to deal with our sh*t 24/7.

Matt:
I just thought that you might like Christa, because you are being mean to her.

Adam:
Yeah, that makes any sense.

Matt:
All I'm saying that, now I'am out of the running because I'm...

Adam:
...a fat Doctor Who fan.

Matt:
Dead. And... noone I rather see her with than you mate.

Matt:
Please mate don't. He doesn't deserve it.

Adam:
Matt, he killed you.

Matt:
Yeah, but he is right. He is just like me. I used to be lonely and angry. Do you imagine what I would have been like in his age

Christa:
Matt you would never be like him. You're better than that.

Matt:
Yeah that is because I've met you two.

Christa:
You don't have to go. I mean this has been kind of fun.

Adam:
Yeah wired but fun.
