Jason of Star Command

Narrator:
Danger hides in the stars! This is the world of Jason of Star Command. A space-age soldier of fortune determined to stop the most sinister force in the universe: Dragos, master of the cosmos. Aiding Jason in his battle against evil is a talented team of experts, all working together in a secret section of Space Academy. Jason of Star Command!

[first lines]

Commander Stone:
Duty is reason enough for a man to do his best. Recognition is not at all necessary.

Jason:
But you've earned the medal, Commander. Just think of how many young cadets you can inspire with your achievement.

Commander Stone:
I'll be satisfied if I can inspire some respect for regulations in you!

[Queen Vanessa has imprisoned Jason, Carole and the Professor in an empty cave]

Space Queen:
My apologies for your simple accommodations, but then it makes housekeeping easy, doesn't it?

[first lines]

Dragos:
Thank you, my friends, for coming to the Dragonship. I've brought you here because I have just learned that our common enemy, Star Command, is entering our domain. The mission: bringing justice to our realm of the universe.

[Dragos' allies erupt in anger]

Dragos:
No no no, my friends. Rejoice! Star Command will be entering areas of the universe where they have not been. We can use their ignorance to our power to capture them and make them our slaves forever!

[Dragos' allies cheer]

Dragos:
At last I shall have my long-awaited revenge on Star Command.

[more cheering]

Dragos:
They think I no longer exist. Soon, they and Jason will know better.

Jason:
Well, Professor, looks like the same old Starfire to me.

Professor E.J. Parsafoot:
Same old Starfire? Do you have any idea how many hours went into modifying that ship?

Peepo:
Not to mention robot hours?

Matt Daringstar:
It's a ghost!

Professor E.J. Parsafoot:
Science dismisses the possibility of supernatural beings, including specters, haunts and... Yipes!

The Guardian:
It must be reactivated and I fear that is impossible. The power room is too close to destruction.

Jason:
Impossible or not, we've got to try.

The Guardian:
That will not be easy.

Commander Stone:
Survival seldom is.

[first lines]

Dragos:
Foolish humans like you will never understand my powers, Jason. At this moment, Star Command is moving towards what they believe is a rendezvous point with you totally unaware of the fact that my Red Dragon squadrons are posed for a full-scale attack on them.

Jason:
I'm coming for you, Dragos.

Dragos:
Guards!

Jason:
Gone - all of them. It's the just the two of us and I'm betting on me.

Dragos:
I shall return, I promise you. I shall be alive in every dark corner of the universe in everything evil that happens. I shall be there!

[Dragos disappears leaving behind only his cape, helmet and maniacal laughter]

[last lines]

Jason:
Well, you'd better put some dinner on the stove, folks. I'm coming home.

Commander Canarvin:
We'll be waiting, Jason.

[just after encountering a huge ice monster, Jason suddenly vanishes]

Samantha:
Jason. Jason! He's disappeared...

[the monster approaches Samantha menacingly]

Samantha:
I want to disappear, too...
