Captain Martin Walker:

Captain Martin Walker:
[Talking about Col. konrad] Back when I knew him in Kabul, he was an honorable man.

Colonel John Konrad:
Because I saved your life? I saved many lives, Captain... I've ended even more.

Colonel John Konrad:

SSgt. John Lugo:

Well, you found some. And it's a b*tch ain't it?

Captain Martin Walker:
Was John Konrad the greatest man I ever served with? Well, I dunno. There was this one time in Kabul when he dragged my bleeding carcass half a mile to the evac chopper, so maybe I'm biased. But the facts don't lie. The man's a f*ckin' hero. Remember when the first storms hit Dubai? You were probably safe and sound at home watchin' TV. Well, Konrad was leadin' the damned 33rd outta Afghanistan. 'Stead of comin' home, he volunteered his entire battalion to help with the evac. But all you did was send a check. Rumor is Konrad was ordered to abandon the city. He defied that order. And the 33rd stood with him. Now, the official story's still hazy 'bout what happened next. All we know for sure is the storms got worse. Much worse. Last thing we heard outta Dubai was the Konrad was leading a caravan of survivors outta the city. That was six months ago. Then, two weeks ago, we picked up this transmission...

Colonel John Konrad:
[static] This is Colonel John Konrad, United States Army. Attempted evactuation of Dubai ended in complete... failure. Death toll... too many... [static]

SSgt. John Lugo:
Yes, sir. About 800 yards away.

Captain Martin Walker:
Then, we are 800 yards away from findin' out whose more fulla sh*t - you or intel.

SSgt. John Lugo:
Wow. If I wasn't a hardened kill' machine, that mighta hurt.

Colonel John Konrad:
It seems that reports of my survival have been greatly exaggerated.

Captain Martin Walker:
This isn't possible...

Colonel John Konrad:
Oh I assure you, it is.

Captain Martin Walker:
How?

Colonel John Konrad:
Not how. Why? You were never meant to come here.

Captain Martin Walker:
What happened here was out of my control...

Colonel John Konrad:
Was it? None of this would've happened if you just stopped. But on you marched. And for what?

Captain Martin Walker:
We tried to save you.

Colonel John Konrad:
You're no savior. Your talents lie elsewhere.

Captain Martin Walker:
This isn't my fault.

Colonel John Konrad:
It takes a strong man to deny what's right in front of him. And if the truth is undeniable, you create your own. The truth, Walker, is that you're here because you wanted to feel like something you're not: A hero. I'm here because you can't accept what you've done. It broke you. You needed someone to blame, so you cast it on me. A dead man. I know the truth is hard to hear Walker, but it's time. You're all that's left and we can't live this lie forever. I'm going to count to five, then I'm pulling the trigger.

Captain Martin Walker:
You're not real. This is all in my head.

Colonel John Konrad:
Are you sure? Maybe it's in mine? One.

Captain Martin Walker:
No... everything, all of this, It was your fault!

Colonel John Konrad:
If that's what you believe then shoot me. Two.

Captain Martin Walker:
I-I didn't mean to hurt anybody...

Colonel John Konrad:
No-one ever does Walker. Three.

Colonel John Konrad:
Four. Is this really what you want Walker? So be it. Five!

Captain Martin Walker:

Captain Martin Walker:

Colonel John Konrad:

[montage of all the killing and destruction Walker has been involved in]

Soldier:
[after the white-phosphorus strike] Why?

Captain Martin Walker:
You brought this on yourself.

SSgt. John Lugo:
[enraged after 47 people died in their white phosphorus attack] THIS IS YOUR FAULT GODDAMNIT!

1st Lt. Alphanso Adams:
Stop right there Lugo.

SSgt. John Lugo:
YOU WOULDN"T LISTEN!

1st Lt. Alphanso Adams:
We didn't have a choice!

SSgt. John Lugo:
HE TURNED US, INTO F***ING KILLERS!

Colonel John Konrad:
