Roy and sidekick Big Boy are wannabe prospectors, who get fired from their cafe job after getting in trouble with a customer. On the way to a new town, the pair come across a young runaway, but are immediately accused of kidnapping when they arrive in her hometown of Bonanza. The runaway's sister (Dale Evans) clears them of the charge, and the group work together to solve the riddle of a treasure hidden in an abandoned mine.
