This is incorrectly attributed. It may have made it onto the convent wall but it is actually part of the Paradoxical Commandments authored by Dr. Kent M. Keith in the 1960s when he was an undergraduate at Harvard.

Mother Teresa was 58 years old in 1968, my friend, when your Dr Keith allegedly said this - in my humble opinion, I would suggest that she was in a better place to have made this remark, by age, life experience, religiously & spiritually-wise. I think it's very difficult to give 100% credit to ANYONE for ANY quote that does not have accompanying proof. It is also my humble opinion that the true purpose of a quote is its inference, it's in the MEANING more so than were those exact words said in that exact order by the alleged author. If one gets too caught up counting the trees, one can lose sight of the forest. Thank you for 'listening', Sezzoo - have a brilliant weekend!
