Few men are willing to brave the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential, vital quality for those who seek to change a world which yields most painfully to change.
For if that last day does not occasion an entire extinction, but a change of abode only, what can be more desirable And if it, on the other hand, destroys and absolutely puts an end to us, what can be preferable to having a deep sleep fall on us in the midst of the fatigues of life and, being thus overtaken, to sleep to eternity
God has never changed and he can't change. Oh! yes, God is ever constant. Yet, he changes all things unquestionably/unchallengeably. And so, he will do whatever he has predestined/promised you. Listen up, you shouldn't ask/know how/when he will do it. Because you don't need to ask/know when/how he will do it. The fact is this, he (God) can and he will certainly do all that he has promised/planned to do for you. Come on, just take a look at where you've been and where you are presently. For, you will surely realize that he (God) is already at work in you. ~Emeasoba George.
High culture is nothing but a child of that European perversion called history, the obsession we have with going forward, with considering the sequence of generations a relay race in which everyone surpasses his predecessor, only to be surpassed by his successor. Without this relay race called history there would be no European art and what characterizes it: a longing for originality, a longing for change. Robespierre, Napoleon, Beethoven, Stalin, Picasso, they're all runners in the relay race, they all belong to the same stadium.
Hope is ever required of you just like love/faith/courage. I mean, a hope for a good day/good time never a bad day/bad time. A hope for an enviable success/future never a miserable success/future. A hope for a positive change never a negative change. A hope for an appointment never a disappointment and stuffs like that. Now all that implies, you've got to hope high/well all-round/all times. ~Emeasoba George.
However mean your life is, meet it and live it do not shun it and call it hard names. Cultivate poverty like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Things do not change, we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.

Human memory is a marvelous but fallacious instrument. The memories which lie within us are not carved in stone; not only do they tend to become erased as the years go by, but often they change, or even increase by incorporating extraneous features.
