Inferiority complex or mediocrity is a matter of choice. Oh! yes, no one can persuade you to feel inferior. Moreover, no one can dare to make you a mediocre without your acceptance . Yes! but come to think of that biblically. You shouldn't accept inferiority complex or mediocrity as your fate. Because, you are one of a kind scripture reference (Psalms 139 : 14) i.e. you are a unique or uncommon creation QED.
It is interesting to note that poetry, a literary device whose very construct involves the use of words, is itself the word of choice by persons grasping to describe something so beautiful it is marvelously ineffable.
It will be of little avail to the people, that the laws are made by men of their own choice, if the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood; if they be repealed or revised before they are promulgated, or undergo such incessant changes that no man, who knows what the law is to-day, can guess what it will be to-morrow.
Jesus' ministry was clearly defined, and the alternatives to the illusion and temptations of the desert were spelled out. A choice was made--life abundant, full, and free for all. Make no mistake about it, the day that choice was made, Jesus became suspect. That day in the temple he sealed the fate already prepared for him. How was the world to understand one who rejected an offer of power and control
Just A Thought Thinking in the present requires choice to do so. To be here now is more than a momentary thing. It's a way of life. It is true that the choices we make determine our lives. Regardless of what others think, do, say we have the ability to handle our reactions to that which occurs to us. It's one of our abilities that when exercised will aid efforts to live a more enhanced life. We all have an inherent aspect that when realized enables us to live as chosen. Potential is like fuel in the tank. We all have a "tank of potential" that awaits turning of a key. KnowyerLoved, CWD
Men make the mistake of thinking that because women can't see the sense in violence, they must be passive creatures. It's just not true. In one important way, at least, men are the passive sex. Given a choice, they will always opt for the status quo. They hate change of any kind, and they fight against it constantly. On the other hand, what women want is stability, which when you stop to think about it is a very different animal.
My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular level.
Neo I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid... afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell how it's going to begin. I'm going to hang up this phone, and then show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules or controls, borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.
Never be bothered that your life/journey on earth will end/cease someday. But, always be mindful that your life/journey on earth won't/can't start afresh. After all, anyone who is down already ought not to fear to fall down anymore. So, never fail to positively use up the time that you've got/been given by God. Because, whether you like it or not, your lifetime will surely elapse/expire/cease someday. Oh! Yes, and what I'm writing about is not a matter of choice.
No one is done for/finished until the person involved thinks/says so. Listen up, life is a matter of choice of mentality, mindset and utterance. I mean, you have a sole right/choice to decide either to think/speak hopefully/positively or hopelessly/negatively. Yes of course, you've got the right/choice. But I urge you as usual. Irrespective of your current condition/ordeal choose to think/speak hopefully/positively and not at all the opposite. For, that's just the way you should think/speak all the time/way.
One thing is clear to me. You cant know everything youd like to know. You cant do everything youd like to do. You cant read everything youd like to read. You must hold onto some things and let go of others. Learning to make that choice is one of the big lessons of this life.
Our children will not survive our habits of thinking, our failures of the spirit, our wreck of the universe into which we bring new life as blithely as we do. Mostly, our children will resemble our own misery and spite and anger, because we give them no choice about it. In the name of motherhood and fatherhood and education and good manners, we threaten and suffocate and bind and ensnare and bribe and trick children into wholesale emulation of our ways.
