When I was a young man, I had liberty, but I did not see it. I had time, but I did not know it. And I had love, but I did not feel it. Many decades would pass before I understood the meaning of all three. And now, the twilight of my life, this understanding has passed into contentment. Love, liberty, and time: once so disposable, are the fuels that drive me forward. And love, most especially, mio caro. For you, our children, our brothers and sisters. And for the vast and wonderful world that gave us life, and keeps us guessing. Endless affection, mia Sofia. Forever yours, Ezio Auditore.
George So in the end, was it worth it Jesus Christ. How irreparably changed my life has become. It's always the last days of summer and I've been left out in the cold with no door to get back in. I'll grant you I've had more than my share of poignant moments. Life passes most people by when they're busy making grand plans for it. Throughout my lifetime I've left pieces of my heart here and there. And now, there's almost barely enough to stay alive. But I force a smile, knowing that my ambition far exceeded my talent. There are no more white horses or pretty ladies at my door.
If only the ugly duckling had known her differentness would be an awesome asset some day, her earlier life would have been much smoother and enjoyable. We should be happy if we are different, because it's our differentiating differentness that will make a huge difference in the world and advance the humankind. You may be an ugly duckling today in the eyes of society, but you are the beautiful white swan of tomorrow. You are the Star today that will be Supernova tomorrow, illuminating and dazzling the universe as never before. Enjoy and celebrate your differentness today, and think positvely about tomorrow -always!
If you think about disaster, you will get it. Brood about death and you hasten your demise. Think positively and masterfully, with confidence and faith, and life becomes more secure, more fraught with action, richer in achievement and experience.
Look to this day For it is life, the very life of life. For yesterday is but a dream And tomorrow is only a vision But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness And tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore, to this day Such is the salutation of the dawn.
Look to this day,For it is life, the very life of life.In its brief course lie all the verities and realities of your existencethe bliss of growth, the glory of action, the splendor of beauty. For yesterday is but a dreamAnd tomorrow is only a vision,But today well lived makesevery yesterday a dream of happinessand every tomorrow a vision of hope.Look well, therefore to this day, such is the salutation of the dawn.
Where there is life, there is hope. Where there are hopes, there are dreams. Where there are vivid dreams repeated, they become goals. Goals become the action plans and game plans that winners dwell on in intricate detail, knowing that achievement is almost automatic when the goal becomes an inner commitment. The response to the challenges of life -- purpose -- is the healing balm that enables each of us to face up to adversity and strife.
A "Comfort Zone" represents status quo, in my honest view, like the stagnant dark water in a pond that often seems so difficult to come out of. Yet you have to step outside your comfort zone, and cross the boundaries to better yourself, and be the best. Only by stepping outside the realm of your comfort zone, you will be able to explore new oceans, and offer your best, something far more superior and beatiful than ever before, to illuminate the world.....like the amazing brilliance and beautiful brightness of a supernova, or a shooting star or even a meteor as they leave their comfort zone and enter into new territories. Strive to re-invent and renew yourself at every stage in life, just like Madonna has done for years, and you will discover your new strengths, awesome powers and asounding beauty that were never there before. Dare to step outside your comfort zone, because that's exactly where the real life begins. Get a Life, my friend.
...One of the strongest motives that lead men to art and science is escape from everyday life with its painful crudity and hopeless dreariness, from the fetters of one's own ever-shifting desires. A finely tempered nature longs to escape from the personal life into the world of objective perception and thought.
Although the protesters in Egypt and neighboring countries are calling for democratic reforms, in reality they are calling for better economic life. Democracy is only a means to an end. I believe the driving forces behind the Tunisian and Egyptian uprisings are economical. A chronic high unemployment combined with an inflation in food prices is a volatile mix that can lead to major civic outbursts.
