...they no longer felt like newlyweds, and even less like belated lovers. It was as if they had lept over the arduous calvary of conjugal life and gone straight to the heart of love. They were together in silence like an old married couple wary of life, beyond the pitfalls of passion, beyond the brutal mockery of hope and the phantoms of disillusion: beyond love. For they had lived together long enough to know that love was always love, anytime and anyplace, but it was more solid the closer it came to death.
A call to love all and sundry or to live for others is never a big ask i.e. it is not a difficult task to undertake. Yes! what it takes is just to realize that God almighty gave you all that you know/have presently including your money/riches/wisdom/insights. And so, he (God) expects you to share it all with someone else/others.
A call to love all is a matter of life and death i.e. it's a matter of vital importance. Besides, the scripture says, whoever that hates anyone is a murderer/murderess and no murderer/murderess can/will inherit God's kingdom (1st John 3 : 15) Q.E.D.
A call to truly love all or to support/sponsor a good cause is just a walk-through i.e. it is an undemanding task/role. Yes! you heard me right. All it takes is just concession/mutual compassion/a large heart/a cheerful heart.
A Country is not a mere territory; the particular territory is only its foundation. The Country is the idea which rises upon that foundation; it is the sentiment of love, the sense of fellowship which binds together all the sons of that territory.
A friend drops their plans when you're in trouble, shares joy in your accomplishments, feels sad when you're in pain. A friend encourages your dreams and offers advice--but when you don't follow it, they still respect and love you.
A life without love, without the presence of the beloved, is nothing but a mere magic-latern show. We draw out slide after slide, swiftly tiring of each, and pushing it back to make haste for the next.
