Felice Leonardo Buscaglia PhD (March 31, 1924 – June 12, 1998), he interchanged his first and second names as most people did not know how to pronounce Felice as fe-LEE-chay, becoming Leo F. Buscaglia. Commonly known as Leo Buscaglia, also known as "Dr. Love," he was an American author and motivational speaker, and a professor in the Department of Special Education at the University of Southern California.
