I invested in Twitter as I believe in its potential to be the platform for free speech around the globe, and I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy, however, since making my investment I now realize the company will neither thrive nor serve this societal imperative in its current form. Twitter needs to be transformed as a private company.
Price should probably be ~$2/month, but paid 12 months up front account doesn’t get checkmark for 60 days (watch for credit card chargebacks) suspended with no refund if used for scam/spam, and no ads.

No, just like [ Unsworth ] didn't clarify he wanted to sodomize me with a submarine. I didn't think it required clarification, i think that would have been worse. If you called someone a motherf' er I don't think you would have to clarify you don't actually commit incest. It would sound disingenuous.
It would be better if we mitigated the effects of global warming and had cleaner air in our cities and were n’t drilling for vast amounts of coal, oil and gas in parts of the world that are problematic and will run out anyway, and if we were a multiplanetary species, that would reduce the possibility of some single event, man-made or natural, taking out civilisation as we know it, as it did the dinosaurs.
Mars is the next natural step. In fact, it’s the only planet we have a shot at establishing a self-sustaining city on, once we do establish such a city, there will be strong forcing function for the improvement of space flight technology that will then enable us to establish colonies elsewhere in the solar system and ultimately extend beyond our solar system.
