Kendall Smith

Kendall A. Smith is an American scientist most well known for his work with molecular immunity. His work has had impact on the science of immunology in the disciplines of immunotherapy, autoimmune diseases, and vaccine development. Working with a research team at Dartmouth Medical School, Smith made several discoveries which impacted the modern-day scientific understanding of the human immune system. His work uncovers the scientific history of the discoveries in immunology, what was discovered, who made the advances, and how they accomplished them. Smith is also notable as the Professor Emeritus of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is also a respected alumni of Denison University, earning a Doctorate in Medicine, and a former Professor of medicine at Ohio State University.
