Niranjan Shah

Niranjan Shah is a founding partner of Globetrotters Engineering Corporation, and the founder of Globetrotters Engineering, Corp based in Chicago, IL. It focuses on architecture, construction, and management services. Shah grew up in India and came to the United States for college in 1970. He earned his Master's in Civil Engineering from the University of Mississippi before moving to Chicago in 1972. He has steadily grown Globetrotters to employ over 200 employees and manage numerous notable projects. He is certified in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Wisconsin. In addition, Shah is a passionate philanthropist. His philanthropy extends from small villages in India to areas of need throughout the United States through organizations like The Shah Center at McHenry County College, Leading India’s Future Today (LIFT), and Sister Cities International. Shah has been recognized for his civic and philanthropic contributions by the governments of both the United States and India. In 2006, he was chosen as a recipient for the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, an award presented to strong leaders of influence across various fields and ethnic backgrounds who contribute greatly to American society.
