Jennifer Grey (born March 26, 1960) is an American actress. She made her acting debut starring as Cathy Bennario in the film Reckless (1984). She soon gained worldwide recognition for her role as Jeanie Bueller in the teen comedy film Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986), and earned critical acclaim for starring as Frances "Baby" Houseman in the romantic drama film Dirty Dancing (1987), for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination.
