He is the son of Rudy Giuliani, Trump's personal attorney and former mayor of New York City. Giuliani is currently a contributor for the conservative media channel Newsmax TV. In April 2021, Giuliani said he was planning run for Governor of New York in 2022 against incumbent Democrat Andrew Cuomo although would decide his final decision by the end of the month.
