Anna Wallner:
Kristina and I learned early that the right products make all the difference in the kitchen.

Kristina Matisic:
We're putting cookbooks to the test...

Anna Wallner:
...along with the kitchen products we need, as we try to make a meal that will impress a chef.

Kristina Matisic:
Hopefully there won't be too many disasters.

Kristina Matisic:
If you don't have your own salad spinner, Jamie has a really good trick for drying your lettuce. So what Jamie says to do is to put your lettuce in a rag...

Anna Wallner:
Maybe a tea towel, a clean tea towel.

Kristina Matisic:
[laughing]... a tea towel...

Anna Wallner:
A rag from under your sink.

Kristina Matisic:
I think we should stick the potatoes in the oven while it's heating up there's no doubt...

Anna Wallner:
[rapid fire] Good idea, good idea, good idea.

Kristina Matisic:
[laughing] I love it when you repeat things many, many, many, many times when you're all stressed out.

Kristina Matisic:
[to the camera] When Anna gets really frantic, she likes to say things again and again and again.

Anna Wallner:
[to the camera] It's true.

Kristina Matisic:
[to the camera, in rapid fire delivery] "Get the prawns, get the prawns, get the prawns."

Anna Wallner:
[to the camera] I get stressed out and I start repeating things.

Kristina Matisic:
[to the camera, in rapid fire delivery] "Check the oven, check the oven, check the oven."

[Kristina starts laughing]

Anna Wallner:
[to the camera] I don't know why I do it. It's a nervous habit. It's a nervous habit. It's a nervous habit.

Kristina Matisic:
[to the camera, with her hands shaking in the air] It just makes me more like this too. We're all just running around like this, arrrrgh...

Stephan MacIntyre:
Clean kitchen before and after. Clean, clean, clean, clean, clean.

[They are talking about the breakfast bars they made from Nigella Lawson's cookbook]

Kristina Matisic:
We'll stick to breakfast. Breakfast with Nigella is good.

Anna Wallner:
Yup.

Stephan MacIntyre:
We'll just brew a pot of coffee...

Anna Wallner:
What man wouldn't want breakfast with Nigella?

Stephan MacIntyre:
[hesitantly] Um...

Anna Wallner:
We'll just leave that.

Stephan MacIntyre:
Yeah, we'll just leave that. She's married.

Kristina Matisic:
OK, I'm borderline embarrassed to serve that.

Anna Wallner:
I'm not. I'm way over the border.

Anna Wallner:
"A ballottine is a whole chicken that has been boned and stuffed." I like to say deboned, not boned. I don't like to think about boning a chicken.

Kristina Matisic:
That was an image I did not need this early... or ever.

Michael Allemeier:
[about cooking] Passion, honestly, is the mortar in-between the bricks. That's what's holding it all together.

Anna Wallner:
[alone, to the camera] I don't really know what they mean by that.

Kristina Matisic:
[alone, to the camera] I was trying to feel passionate about puff pastry, and about chopping, and I really don't know what that meant.

Michael Allemeier:
[alone, to the camera] I honestly believe you've either got it or you don't.
