Power Rangers Samurai

Narrator:
Centuries ago in Japan, Nighlok monsters invaded our world but samurai warriors defeated them with power symbols passed down from parent to child. Today, the evil Nighlok have risen once again and plan to flood the Earth; luckily, a new generation of heroes stand in their way - they are the Power Rangers Samurai.

Octoroo:
Ooh, ah, ooh. I know what you're up to. I figured it out a while ago. Well, two minutes ago, but still. You're driving wedges of misery into the human world to split it open so you can instantly flood the earth.

Serrator:
Impressive. The noodle-head actually figured it out.

Octoroo:
I just wish I discovered the level of your traitorous insanity earlier. This is incredibly risky. Tearing an opening between our worlds could destroy them both! I don't know about you, but I try to keep my chances of being destroyed to a minimum.

Serrator:
If it would help me rule both worlds, I'd destroy you a thousand times over.

Octoroo:
Once the boss recovers from drying out, he'll rip you and your plan apart. Wait. You don't have the power to split open their world. You need someone filled with Nighlok rage and human sorrow to do it.

[gasps]

Octoroo:
Deker! You need him to deliver the final strike, don't you?

Serrator:
Wow. You're on a streak. And I set this all up over 200 years ago.

Octoroo:
But there's no way it can succeed. He'll never agree to it.

Serrator:
Everybody has a price, and I have something he wants. Nothing will stop me now, especially you.

Spike Skullovitch:
You know what I like best after Tai Chi? Chai tea!

Spike Skullovitch:
[to Bulk] They got me, man. Those bugs have got me, man.

[stomach gurgles loudly]

Spike Skullovitch:
Oh, wait. I'm just hungry.

Farkas 'Bulk' Bulkmeier:
When it comes to food, I've got a photographic memory.

Spike Skullovitch:
Bingo! Whoa! Usually we're sitting when we eat in a booth.

Serrator:
Well, well, Deker. How unexpected. What a pleasant surprise.

Deker:
Spare me. You know why I'm here.

Serrator:
You've come for your real sword, Uramasa. Good timing. My plan is reaching its climax. That glow coming from those humans is their misery creating a wedge in the earth. And surprise! It's the final wedge I need. All of my attacks in this world were designed to create a line of human misery. I used Xandred's monsters to orchestrate a symphony of human suffering to serve my brilliant objective. And now each of the wedges I created are ready to be activated. Accept your fate. We're at the end of my perfect plan and the end of the world as you know it. Welcome to the start of my reign. And once this wedge is in place, your world will bursting at the seams, ready to be split open with one might stroke. I will flood the entire earth with the Sanzu River. Not with a trickle with Master Xandred had planned, but with a terrorizing torment, the likes of which have never been seen. The earth will be entirely submerged in the red waters of evil, and I will finally become the ruler of both our worlds.

Deker:
Enough talk. Give me what you promised. Give me my sword, Uramasa.

Serrator:
Why of course. But first, to complete our deal, you owe me one final favor.

Deker:
Favor?

Serrator:
Just a little favor. The one to crack open the world must be someone that feels the pain of both the human and nether worlds but belongs to neither. That's you.

Antonio Garcia:
[reels up a fish] This is, like, fishzilla. I got to get a picture of this.

Serrator:
Now it is time for you to finish this with a final strike with your one true sword. Deker, time to play your part. Uramasa, your sword, as promised. Live up to your end of the deal. Take it, Deker. With it, you shall shatter the world.

Deker:
No. All I want is my sword, Uramasa.

Serrator:
Of course you do. I planed for this and made sure that your centuries of misery and rage were locked up inside of Uramasa.

Deker:
What?

Serrator:
Yes. The only way to release yourself from all that pain is for you to quickly take your sword and strike before this wedge explodes. Trust me. With one quick slash, your curse will finally be broken, and you'll truly be free.

Deker:
Free. Free at last.

Octoroo:
Ooh, ah, ooh, you ran away? How could you?

Epoxar:
It's just like walking, but faster. Now, get off my back, squid breath.

Octoroo:
That's "octopus breath" to you.

Mike:
What? We're just practicing the Waltz.

Kevin:
A Waltz?

Mike:
I'll lead.

Kevin:
What are you doing? We're not dancing the Waltz.

Mike:
Foxtrot?

Kevin:
I drank a lot of juice this morning.

Mike:
Huh?

[looks at the men's room]

Mike:
Now, tell me you're just kidding me. No, not the bathroom. Oh, man.

Mia:
I'm just going to check on my cookies in the oven real quick.

Kevin:
[sarcastically] Oh, Mia's cookies. Can't wait.

Mike:
Remember when she almost burned down the kitchen cooking that chicken?

Mia:
[about her Christmas present, a recipe book] I love it!

Kevin:
There's some good recipes in there. You should read it.

RPM Red Ranger:
You guys really are all about being old school.

Kevin:
Old school? Are you aware at all that you were this close to cutting off my head?

RPM Red Ranger:
You guys really need to update your weapons.

Green Samurai Ranger:
Dude, we can handle this.

Mike:
From now on when Mia cooks, I'm wearing my helmet.

Mentor-Ji:
[RPM Red Ranger drives off on his motorcycle] He took my bike!

Mentor-Ji:
Jayden, where's the rest of the team?

Jayden:
Sucked through a vortex, probably to where this guy came from.

RPM Red Ranger:
Yeah, well, it's their fault. They got in the way.

Jayden:
No, they saved us.

Mentor-Ji:
A major Nighlok army has gathered. This doesn't look good.

Jayden:
We've got it.

RPM Red Ranger:
It's a piece of cake.

[refers to Jayden]

RPM Red Ranger:
For him, uh, not so sure.

RPM Red Ranger:
Ah. Now I know why they say don't play in traffic.

Green Samurai Ranger:
It's time to rage against the machine.

General Gut:
Ha! I'm glad you decided to face me one-on-one. The great leader of the Samurai Rangers shouldn't fall just to anyone. It's only fitting that you shall fall to me, a truly great leader. No last words? I'm disappointed. Say goodbye, Red Ranger.

Red Samurai Ranger:
You're no great leader, General Gut. You're just another Nighlok with delusions of grandeur. Shark mode!

[Red Samurai Ranger powers up with the Shark Sword]

Red Samurai Ranger:
General Gut, I'd like to introduce to a friend of mine. Meet the Shark Sword.

General Gut:
I don't care if you have some fancy sword.

Red Samurai Ranger:
You really should.

Red Samurai Ranger, Pink Samurai Ranger, Green Samurai Ranger, Blue Samurai Ranger, Yellow Samurai Ranger:
Samurai Shark Megazord armed for battle!

General Gut:
I'm not scared of you! Do your worst!

Red Samurai Ranger:
Let's show him what a team can do.

Octoroo:
Ooh-ah-ooh! Not Octoroo!

Master Xandred:
For once, no. I'm talking about everyone else! Idiots!

Octoroo:
Another headache?

Master Xandred:
Feels more like a migraine.

Octoroo:
Drink your medicine.

Master Xandred:
Ah! That didn't help.

Octoroo:
Oh, Master.

Master Xandred:
Ahh, it's those Rangers.

Octoroo:
General Gut had so many Moogers, I thought we'd win this time. The Rangers ruin everything. If only Professor Cog handled them.

Master Xandred:
Professor Cog? Don't even mention him or his robotic lackeys! The only thing more useless than the Nighlok buffoons I sent to fight the Rangers are those junkyard rejects!

RPM Red Ranger:
Okay, well, it's time for me to take the fight against evil back to my own world.

Jayden:
Thank you for helping us save the city.

RPM Red Ranger:
No. Thank you. Look, if Professor Cog has succeeded, my world would have been in big trouble. That's pretty good, even if you are tragically old school.

RPM Red Ranger:
Nice to see you again, Professor Cog. Oh, and thanks for teaching the face-out trick to me.

Professor Cog:
What?

General Tread:
No!

Red Samurai Ranger:
Yeah. Good try with your mind control bolts. My mentor notices we were acting weird. And he figured out a way to reverse your poison. Once our heads were clear, we knew we had to team up and turn the tables on you. You made the mistake of underestimating us. We're humans. You can't unprogram our motors that easily.

RPM Red Ranger:
But thanks for letting us ride right on to your doorstep.

Professor Cog:
That's the last time you'll make a fool out of me. Sergeant Tread? Attack!

Mentor-Ji:
You're not ready to use the beetle just yet. You're literally playing with fire. Jayden, you must be prepared to give 100% of yourself. Not just physically, but mentally.

Jayden:
But I'm giving 110%.

Mentor-Ji:
Yes. But you're lacking balance in your life. You're pushing yourself too hard. And that's not letting you be at your best.

Jayden:
Yeah. Maybe I am pushing myself hard. But I'm the Red Ranger now. I have to be the best and keep getting better.

Mentor-Ji:
I understand why you stayed behind today. But there was a time when you were younger when we both trained hard. But you still allowed yourself to have fun. I know you wanted to go with the others.

Jayden:
The Nighlok grow stronger. I must master this beetle disk before it's too late.

Mentor-Ji:
The responsibility you bear is great. But while you need to master the disk, you also need to master balance in your life as a samurai.

Dreadhead:
You saying there's something wrong with my hair?

Green Samurai Ranger:
Yeah, it's so dreadful, it needs a trim.

[Green Samurai Ranger slashes him]

Dreadhead:
[as he knocks the Rangers on their backs] Tarnation. Now, that's a bit more like it. So let's pretend that you're blades of grass, and guess who's gonna be the lawnmower. Let's see who makes the cut.

Dreadhead:
My dreadlocks feel like leadlocks.

Deker:
That last time we dueled, you broke Uramasa in two. But this time, the only thing that will break is my curse and you.

Deker:
This is all I ever needed to do. Raise your sword. It's time I found peace in your defeat.

Jayden:
Face it, Deker. It's over. You're too tired even to lift your sword.

Deker:
Dayu?

Dayu:
Please don't do this.

Deker:
It's you.

Dayu:
I don't want to lose you again.

Deker:
Release me. Let me be free of this curse. Please.

Jayden:
Who is he talking to?

Deker:
Dayu. Please.

Deker:
This fight is over.

Deker:
If only that were true.

Pink Samurai Ranger:
Dayu?

Dayu:
Pink Ranger?

Pink Samurai Ranger:
Why are you here?

Dayu:
Why do you think I'm here? I'm a Nighlok, aren't I? I'm here to feast on human suffering.

Pink Samurai Ranger:
What? If that's true, you'll feast on my blade.

Dayu:
Foolish girl. You will soon see nothing but darkness.

Pink Samurai Ranger:
Nothing but darkness?

Dayu:
For 200 years, I wouldn't accept my Nighlok life, but now I have nothing to lose. You will never conquer us!

Pink Samurai Ranger:
Oh, yeah? Hiyah.

[strikes Dayu and the harmonium with her sword]

Pink Samurai Ranger:
Why are you laughing?

Dayu:
Because you didn't defeat me. Can't you feel all the evil power stored in my harmonium surging? It's destruction will unleash a cloud of pure, magnificent misery, and Master Xandred will rise again. Doomed! All humans are doomed.

Fiera:
Dayu! I didn't think they'd let you back on this ship. What's the matter? Couldn't make any friends on earth, just like here?

Dayu:
Listen, birdbrain, no matter where I go, I'm still a Nighlok. Rather than testing my patience with your taunts, why don't you try something challenging? Help us take down the Red Ranger.

Fiera:
Count me in.

Lauren:
[to Fiera] You know what? Hair like yours need a good blow-dry.

Lauren:
I was so proud when I saw you fight yesterday. You've grown into a true samurai.

Jayden:
You were the one who tore up the battlefield. You were amazing.

Lauren:
Here, have some more green tea. I thought of you often over the years. I imagined that, like me, you must have felt very alone.

Jayden:
Yes, but I've learned to trust my friends. They've become like brothers and sisters to me too.

Lauren:
I'm so glad. I hope I can become part of the family too. You, me, surrounded by friends.

Jayden:
Lauren, you know we can't be together now.

Lauren:
I had hoped that maybe there would be some way.

Jayden:
I always knew this day would come. You are now the Red Ranger. You must your place as their leader. The only way for that to happen is for me to leave.

Lauren:
Jayden...

Jayden:
The sealing power is the only way to save the world. It must be protected and it means protecting you at all costs. They're too loyal to me. If I stay... If I stay, dangerous mistakes could be made. But I can't let that happen.

Lauren:
Are you sure?

Jayden:
There can be only one Red Ranger.

Mia:
Jayden, you can't go. You know how we all feel.

Jayden:
I know. But Lauren alone has the sealing power. She's able to do what I could never do. End this fight, bring peace. You all need to rally around her.

Antonio Garcia:
We need you too. Lauren, tell him. Well, go on, tell him.

Mike:
Mentor, what is this? Jayden's leaving. How can you keep this from us? Come on! Make him stay.

Mentor-Ji:
You can't stop him. No one can.

Jayden:
Ji, you've been my guiding light. Thank you for everything. Mike, Emily, Mia, Antonio, Kevn, it's been honor to fight by your side.

Kevin:
I'm going with you.

Jayden:
You're a Samurai Ranger. I'm counting on you stay and fight by my sister's side. I know you'll make her as proud of you as you made me.

Emily:
It was Jayden who brought us together. Somehow, fighting next to him made me a stronger warrior.

Mike:
So what are we supposed to do? Just forget about him like he never existed?

Lauren:
Of course not.

Kevin:
Mike, you remember what Jayden said. We have a duty as samurai.

Antonio Garcia:
Well, he's my best friend. And technically, I'm not a true samurai like all you are. So, I'm going after him.

Mike:
I'm sorry, Lauren. I'm sure you're a great samurai, but it's just not the same without Jayden.

Antonio Garcia:
Muy feo. These guys get uglier every time I see them.

Mike:
Yo, Moogers have cornered the market on ugly. It's what they do best.

Mike:
Wow, this is classic. I could write kanji symbols like a master with this thing.

Emily:
I wouldn't go that far. Mike has kanji issues.

Mike:
Hey.

Terry:
So where is my sis, anyway?

Emily:
Oh, she went with Kevin to get some groceries.

Terry:
You're not gonna let her cook, are you?

Terry:
Wait. Do you sing?

Antonio Garcia:
I sing a little when I'm down at the pier. The fish never complain.

Terry:
Then let's go jam. I wanna hear those golden pipes. I hear that's your color.

Antonio Garcia:
[laughs] Golden- That's a good one.

Serrator:
This is much better. With you Rangers out of the way, I can finally put my plan into action. It's a nightmare come true.

Mia:
Dream on, Serrator.

Serrator:
What?

Mia:
Whatever your plan is, I'm here to stop it.

Serrator:
You, stop me? You've got spirit. I grant you that. But I hate spirit.

Serrator:
Octoroo, settle down. Skarf works for me. He's going to cause wonderful misery in the human world.

Octoroo:
This guy? To me, it looks like all he can do is eat like a pig.

Serrator:
Just give him time. Skarf's real powers won't be unlocked until after those sappy Samurai Ranger runts have destroyed him.

Octoroo:
Huh? I don't get it.

Master Xandred:
Of course you don't, squid breath.

Skarf:
Squid?

[Skarf tries to grab Octoroo's head]

Octoroo:
Ow! W-would you stop it!

Skarf:
But I love seafood!

Dayu:
He's alive. I can't believe it. How is it you're here? I thought the Red Ranger destroyed you forever.

Deker:
My sword, Uramasa, and its power took the damage for me. But I survived. For my curse to finally be broken, I need to fight the ultimate battle. What matters that the battle ends without Uramasa being broken.

Dayu:
In many ways, we're the same. We both have strong attachments. My harmonium and your sword.

Jayden:
Deker, how are you still alive?

Deker:
Since my sword, Uramasa, broke in battle my curse wasn't broken. You can say I was lost, but I'm found. Until Uramasa's fixed, I'm just a sword for hire.

Jayden:
Then I'll just have to defeat you again.

Mentor-Ji:
Look before you, Moogers. This is the 18th leader of the Samurai Power Rangers, descendant of the man who destroyed your masters years ago. You have two choices: retreat now or become rust on his blade.

Red Samurai Ranger:
Don't bother. I don't want them to retreat. I want to take them for a spin.

Octoroo:
Forget about celebrating, Tooya. That mouth on your skirt is as ugly as Master Xandred's mood.

Tooya:
Hey, if anybody here got hit with the ugly stick, it would be you.

Mike:
Want a bite?

Kevin:
No, thanks. I never snack between meals while in samurai training?

Mike:
When *aren't* you in training?

Kevin:
Never.

Spike Skullovitch:
Thanks for taking me in, Uncle Bulk. Dad said that you could help me become something great. And then laughed for about 20 minutes.

Farkas 'Bulk' Bulkmeier:
He's right. And what I'm gonna do is train you to become... a samurai. I'm an expert in the field of samurai-ology. I've been studying samurai movies for years, and I have a bit of history with the Power Rangers.

Farkas 'Bulk' Bulkmeier:
[Spike accidentally squirts him with ketchup] Yup, just like his father.

Tooya:
Hey, Negatron. Happy Halloween, buddy.

Negatron:
Happy? How can you be happy, skirt-face? We're all ghosts.

Dreadhead:
Is this pumpkin I carved scary or what? This is our night to par-tay! Robtish is going to get you. BOO!

Robtish:
Oh, no! It's the Red Ranger's face.

Rhinosnorus:
Hey! Who wants to play a good old-fashioned game of "Bobbing for Furry Warts"?

Dreadhead:
Well, I'd play, but I don't want to get my hair wet.

Dayu:
Besides, we're still alive and they've all been destroyed.

Master Xandred:
Heh? But I put on this ninja costume and everything just for Halloween.

Dayu:
[humoring him] Wow. It's a real transformation.

Octoroo:
Yeah, I barely recognized you.

Robtish:
Yuck! Antberry, you slimed me!

Rhinosnorus:
It was so humiliating. And then they did that thing they do when they turn around and let us explode behind them.

Tooya:
It was the Red Ranger. That guy has no respect for Nighlok, or for parked cars. Okay, I guess I was the one who messed with the car first, but he's the one who cut it in half.

Madimot:
I didn't just get a "see ya." I got three of them. And then they turned around to pose for their picture.

Scorpionic:
Try dealing with five of them at once. I didn't have a chance. They counted off, one, two, three, four, five. And then the pose. Again.

Master Xandred:
What? They left the party before I could pull a trick on them.

Dayu:
You're so grumpy. Is that bandanna on too tight?

Octoroo:
Ooh-ah-ooh. That wasn't a party you wanted to be invited to. The guest list was from the obituary column.

Master Xandred:
But that means I would have been the life of the party. Get it?

Dayu:
Ouch, that hurt.

Octoroo:
[laughs] Good one, big red. Oh, come on, boss. That was funny.

Octoroo:
Ooh-ah-ooh, there's no one left but Octoroo. Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Well, so much for the boss's big plans. They've all gone down the drain!

[the Junk Ship sinks into the Sanzu River]

Emily:
Don't worry, Mentor. You taught us to never give up. We'll beat Master Xandred if it's the last thing we do.

Mike:
And after that, you're gonna teach me something new.

Mentor-Ji:
What's that?

Mike:
To ride your motorcycle.

Mentor-Ji:
Now that scares me more than any Nighlok.

Master Xandred:
I thought I told you pathetic fools to wait.

Mike:
Sorry. We became impatient.

Jayden:
You will fall, and this world will be protected.

Mike, Jayden, Mia, Kevin, Emily, Antonio Garcia:
Rangers together! Samurai forever!

Master Xandred:
Fools. Forever is shorter than you think.

[to Moogers]

Master Xandred:
Attack!

Master Xandred:
Samurai Rangers, hear me now. You have won this battle, but our quest to rule your world will never end. You may have defeated me, but the Nighlok will rise again.

[explodes]

Spike Skullovitch, Eugene 'Skull' Skullovitch:
See ya, Bulky!

Farkas 'Bulk' Bulkmeier:
Skull! You... You look great.

Eugene 'Skull' Skullovitch:
Bulk... meier. Old man. You look...

[snickers]

Eugene 'Skull' Skullovitch:
You haven't changed a bit.

Farkas 'Bulk' Bulkmeier:
Neither have you, Skullovitch.

Deker:
Go ahead, attack me, I'm unarmed. I didn't think so.

Antonio Garcia:
I'm begging you. Please, forget about your sword and walk away. I know you want to lift your curse. But if you do what Serrator asks, millions of people will suffer a horrible fate.

Deker:
I knew it. You're no samurai. You don't have the guts to stop me.

Deker:
This is a waste of time. You're not worthy opponents.

Mike:
You're wrong, Deker! Honor and compassion aren't Antonio's weaknesses. His heart is his greatest strength.

Antonio Garcia:
I was a fool to think Deker could be reasoned with.

Kevin:
No, you were really brave. We need a samurai like you on the team to remind us what we really stand for.

Antonio Garcia:
Let's go stop him once and for all.

Serrator:
Why? How could you betray me like this?

Deker:
You had what I wanted. Your mistake was thinking I shared your hatred of humanity. I care only for the sword. You made me that way. Remember?

Serrator:
You're as heartless as any Nighlok.

Deker:
And so it ends here.

Dayu:
Deker? I saw what you did back there. So have you finally turned your back on the Nighlok once and for all?

Deker:
We were never after the same thing. I will end my curse on my own terms, not the cost of this world. I'm nothing like you, Nighlok. Then again, I have this strange feeling our fates are intertwined somehow.

Dayu:
Oh, Deker, if only you knew the truth.

Farkas 'Bulk' Bulkmeier:
It's chewin' time!

Gred:
Suddenly I'm feeling jolly. Santa's gonna have one less stocking to fill.

Jayden:
It's time to get rid of this over-sized Christmas ornament.

Mike:
And I've got just the thing. Cannon blast mode! Five Disk Beetle Cannon.

Gred:
What's that?

Gred:
Our gift to you.

[fires the Disk Beetle Cannon at Gred, destroying him]

Mike:
Merry Christmas!

Jayden:
Hold the eggnog, Mike.

Gred:
Santa ain't coming to your house this year.

Mike:
Don't you dare even mention Santa's name.

[the Battlewing Megazord loses power]

Kevin:
It's gone out like a bunch of Christmas lights. Guess we'll be here for awhile.

Mike:
Stuck? No, you got to fix this. There are chestnuts waiting to be roasted.

Splitface:
Come on. What's with all the costume changes? Pick one.

Gold Samurai Ranger:
Deal with it, Nighlok. That's just the way we roll.

Deker:
So you're finally alone. Free from the burden of being expected to save the world. I knew we had something in common the moment I met you. Hiding that secret made you twisted like me.

Jayden:
We have nothing in common.

Deker:
Maybe you don't think so, but I can see it in your eyes, the same need to fight, the need to prove yourself worthy. I was right to choose you as my ultimate opponent. We're both tormented by fates we didn't choose.

Jayden:
I know one thing. The world would be a better without you, Deker. Perhaps this is my destiny. It's time to finish this once and for all.

Deker:
A duel to the end?

Jayden:
Your end!

Emily:
Wow, you must trained day and night.

Lauren:
That's not too far from the truth.

[walks in the kitchen as Mia prepares lunch]

Mike:
But I bet nothing, nothing could have prepared you for this.

Mia:
Lunch is ready.

Mentor-Ji:
Jayden, you must stop now. Don't let him make you fight just for the sake of fighting.

Deker:
Don't waste your breath. Get out of the way, old man. You'll stop nothing. I will not let you stand in the way of our destiny.

Octoroo:
Oh, ooh-ah-ooh, He's sucked almost all my life force. Giving him a third life really drained me bad. I feel like fried calamari.

Dayu:
You fool, you should have known.

Antonio Garcia:
Let those people go, you stinkin' Nighlok.

Gigertox:
Stinking? What you smell is my new unbeatable power.

Jayden:
Why are we stopping?

Mentor-Ji:
I've been away from the kitchen, which means Mia's probably preparing dinner.

Jayden:
Oh.

Mentor-Ji:
Yeah, I'm gonna grab some snacks.

Master Xandred:
So you are the maker of this music?

Dayu:
It is my song.

Master Xandred:
From now, you will serve only me. And in return, I will spare your life. I shall make you my minion. In the Netherworld, your music will serve a higher purpose than self-pity.

Dayu:
I accept.

Dayu:
Serrator, what's your game? You never intended to fix my harmonium, did you?

Serrator:
To be honest, all I really wanted was Deker and the powerful sad music this makes. You've been nothing but a pawn in my plan.

Dayu:
You deceived me for the last time. Liar!

[she attacks Serrator]

Serrator:
Ah, ah, ah. And it only took you 200 years to figure that out.

Dayu:
Put my harmonium down so I can take you down.

Spike Skullovitch:
Where's my arms and my legs?

Farkas 'Bulk' Bulkmeier:
That's not you. That's your symbol. A twig.

Spike Skullovitch:
