[Uncle Hobart starts singing Ramona]

Ramona Quimby:
Why does he have to sing that every time he sees me?

Bob Quimby:
[Puts down the box he was holding. Dory, Ramona, and Beezus look at him. He has an angry look on his face] Okay. That's it. We're gettin' out of here. All four of us [Using hand jestures to emphasize his point] We're bustin' outta here, warden, right now.

Ramona:
[Concerned] Daddy...

Dory Quimby:
Um, Bob, what exactly are you saying?

Bob Quimby:
[Going from mad to crazy and getting louder with each sentance, but using this for dramatic effect, rather than actually being mad] I'm saying, get your jacket girls. Get your coat, Dory. We're going... out to dinner. We may actually be civil. We might even have a good time. But we are definately, absolutely [yelling] getting out of this house!

Beezus:
[the whole Quimby family walks outside of the restraunt to see if Mr. X is still there. He isn't] I don't see him.

Ramona:
Maybe he flew away like an angel.

Dory Quimby:
[Smiling] I wouldn't be surprised.

Mr. X:
[Ramona accidently bumps into Mr. X, however he is not mad] Hello there. Have you been good to your mother lately.

Ramona:
[Unsure of what to say] I'm not supposed to talk to strangers.

Mr. X:
Quite right. [Ramona walks back over to her parents. Mr. X smiles at them] You've got quite a young lady there.

Dory Quimby:
That's our Ramona.

Ramona:
I think I'm gonna... [Throws up]

Marsha:
[Reading her book report]... great big roller coaster. Suddenly she goes down. Then she goes up. Then she goes down. Then, she goes to the top of the hill, and goes *down*...

Ramona:
[after visualizing the story Marsha is talking about] Mrs. Whaley, I think I'm gonna... [Barfs]

Ramona Quimby:
Mom never throws food away.

Beezus:
She must really be mad.

Ramona Quimby:
Why is Beezus so unhappy?

Dory Quimby:
Because, honey, she's an eleven-year-old girl with eighty-year-old hair!

Uncle Hobart:
[singing] Ramona, I hear the mission bells above. Ramona, they're ringing out our song of love...
