[Lex's document examiner has identified the murderer by handwriting analysis]

Ed Morse:
It's Crawley. I've got to go after him right away, but I'm shorthanded. That trouble in Immokalee took four deputies. I need help.

Lex Rogers:
Well, like the fellow said, "You never can find a cop when you need one."

Ed Morse:
Which fellow is that - the one that cuts the budgets?

McLean:
We had a 24-hour tail on Dante's wife. Today she made a phone call from a public booth. Ten minutes later, she lost the tail in the crowds.

Lex Rogers:

Lex Rogers:

Lex Rogers:

Lex Rogers:
