Deniz Demirci:
Mert, why is your name Mert / Brave? My father gave me this name. Maybe I really am brave. Nietzsche says What was silent in the father speaks in the son.

Mert Akbay:
What does this mean?

Dilek Hanoglu:
Are you saying Mert's father can't be brave?

Deniz Demirci, Mert Akbay:
I can't say that but it's a possibility.

Mert Akbay:
So why is your name Deniz / Sea?

Deniz Demirci:
No particular reason. But the philosophical depth of the name is dizzying. Life is a sea. We're all parts of it. Just like waves. Whether we sink or float is beyond our willpower. Our destinies are written by the winds that carry us.

Dilek Hanoglu:
Is this fatalism or what?

Deniz Demirci:
No, it's not. But fatalism is a great anti-depressant. Only, fate doesn't exist. There is no route, no track, nothing.

Aylin Kargin ?atak:
Then what is there?

Deniz Demirci:
Nothing, really. There's nothing we can decide with our willpower. It wasn't my decision to be born into my family, or to be born in that place. We're all droplets in an ocean. Of course, we don't feel comfortable with this fact, believing in the reverse is more fashionable. We feel more powerful that way. We feel more in control.

Dilek Hanoglu:
I don't think we're droplets in an ocean but ships sailing towards a destination. We all have routes. For example... I take this glass... and drink up. I wanted to and I did.

Deniz Demirci:
Yes, but the fact that you drank it does not determine you.

Mert Akbay:
What if there was poison in the glass?

Deniz Demirci:
The same questions all the time! Drinking poison would bloody determine you. But no one would swallow poison just for the fun of it, would they? Think of this: If it wasn't for the engineers who designed airplanes would you be able to fly in a metal box? Life is similar. We're told not to worry, everything is taken care of, designed, under control. We're told just to live. And this relieves us. We claim victories, thinking we personally won them. But this is a great lie. In fact, we've done nothing to achieve them.

Dilek Hanoglu:
Well, the point I've reached today is certainly my own making.

Deniz Demirci:
And which point is that?

Bora ?atak:
In fact, there is no such point... But what is all this "Matrix" talk hey?

Mert Akbay:
I think Deniz is right. We all inherited our achievements.

Dilek Hanoglu:
OK, I got it. We're capable of nothing, and Deniz of everything.

Aylin Kargin ?atak:
Thanks Deniz. You are great! We are spending tonight discussing the meaning of your name.

Deniz Demirci:
OK Then. Are you all ready? Here is the last blow. I'm a novel heroine! I'm a movie character! You, the peeping tom in the boat over there, you'll never get laid by me. You lonely Seagull, the day will come when you can't fly. You, fat guy in the armchair! You're no different from me! I know you all. You're all in this game. Come, dive into me. Take me by the handfuls. Drink me! All you want is a handful of Sea. Are you ready to go all lengths? Are you ready?

Bora ?atak:
I am!

Deniz Demirci:
Like hell you are! You're only ready for a handful. None of you has the courage for all.

Aylin Kargin ?atak:
Deniz, did you study philosophy or drama?

Deniz Demirci:
Do you think I'm being dramatic?

Deniz Demirci:
