Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus

Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (known as Sly Raccoon in Europe and Australia) is a platform stealth video game created by Sucker Punch Productions that was released on the PlayStation 2 in 2002. The game was followed by three sequels, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. On November 9, 2010, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, as well as its first two sequels, were released together as The Sly Collection, a remastered port of all three games on a single Blu-ray disc as a Classics HD title for the PlayStation 3. The game focuses on master thief Sly Cooper and his gang, Bentley the Turtle and Murray the Hippo, as they seek out the Fiendish Five to recover his family's "Thievius Raccoonus," a book with the accumulation of all of Sly's ancestors' thieving moves. The game was praised for using a variation on cel-shading rendering, which is used to create a film noir feel, while still rendered as a hand-drawn animated movie, though criticized for being too short. An upcoming CGI animated film based on the game is set for a theatrical release in the near future. No set release date or year has been confirmed.

Revenge is the prime ingredient in the Fountain of Youth. I've kept myself alive for hundreds of years with a steady diet of jealousy and hate, awaiting the day when I would eclipse your family's thieving reputation.

Panda King:
Your skill with that cane is unparalleled. [coughs and groans before passing out]

Panda King:
I see you carry the cane of the notorious Cooper thief clan. Have you come here for revenge? To steal back the Thievious Raccoonus?

Sly:
That was my plan at first, but now I'm more interested in shutting down your avalanche extortion racket.

Panda King:
Why should you care if I bury a few worthless villiages in snow? You are a thief, just like me.

Sly:
You're only half right. I'm a thief, from a long line of master thieves, whereas you, you're just a frustrated fireworks artist turned homicidal pyromaniac.

Panda King:
Insolent child! You will pay dearly for your disrespect! However, to honor your Cooper ancestry, I will send you to your doom with the beauty of my new firework technique, Flame-Fu!

Clockwerk:
