Clark Kent:
Yeah, well, I'm not going to Met U.

Chloe Sullivan:
What? What happened? Did another school swoop down and give you the keys to the kingdom?

Clark Kent:
I'm not playing football anymore. I turned down my scholarship.

Chloe Sullivan:
Let me get this straight. You were offered a full ride with crown wheels to play the game that you love, and you said, "Thanks, but not thanks"?

Clark Kent:
I don't know. I'm just not sure that football's my calling.

Chloe Sullivan:
[pauses] I'm proud of you, Clark.

Clark Kent:
You're proud of me? Why?

Chloe Sullivan:
I just have a feeling that you're destined to do a lot more in this world than just score touchdowns.

Clark Kent:
Chloe, you've been saying a lot of weird things to me lately. What makes you think I'm destined to do anything?
