Neon Genesis Evangelion, Series

Neon Genesis Evangelion (新世紀エヴァンゲリオン) is a 1995 anime series produced by Studio Gainax and directed by Hideaki Anno. It spawned a manga series, two movies, Evangelion: Death and Rebirth, and The End of Evangelion, and several video games, among others. A tetralogy of films which are collectively known as Rebuild of Evangelion is currently being released by Studio Khara, under Anno's direction, presenting a retelling of the story and an alternate ending.
