The Astronist Institution is the founding denomination of Astronism established by Cometan during his authorship of the Omnidoxy in what is known now as the Founding era. The Astronist Institution developed as a result of the institutionalisation of Astronism, to protect and preserve the religious philosophy and spirituality of Cometan's founding. The Astronist Institution works to promote Astronism and recognise it around the world in addition to that of the Astronic religious tradition. The Astronist Institution self-identifies as a religio-philosophical institution with sole proprietorship over Astronism.
