Tom Crane:
Our friend Graham. Either he's on something, or he's auditioning for Night Of The Highland Zombie.

Tom Crane:
Omega. The Omega Factor. The end and beyond the end.

Frank:
What would you do without us, hey?

Tom Crane:
Revert rapidly to prayer.

Frank:
Infra-red film, in case the lights go out, linked to these sensors which will go off automatically. Oh, cheer up! It might happen, whatever it is. It's all very hush-hush this time. Are we really up against something, or can't you say?

Tom Crane:
Yes, it could be dangerous. Martindale should have told you that much. Have you had much luck with this stuff in the past?

Frank:
Yeah, there was a house in Glasgow once, it's demolished now. Been rather grand, but it was left empty for a couple of years until some squatters moved in. When one of them cut his throat over the sink, the others moved out. The place ended up as a brothel and one night, one of the girls got the boot.

Tom Crane:
Why?

Frank:
She was proving bad for business. She kept telling her clients that she... er... kept seeing the "man with two mouths". It eventually got back to us and we paid the Madam some money to let us have a look.

Tom Crane:
Nothing's free these days.

Frank:
Yeah, we set up in the kitchen. First two nights, nothing happened. Then, on the third night, temperature drops, cameras go off and we got something. It was half cloud, half human.

Tom Crane:
That's amazing.

Frank:
Yeah, it's a real achievement. The eyes though, we caught the eyes. Never seen such... I don't know, hopelessness, I suppose. Misery.

Tom Crane:
Well, let's hope any visitors we have tonight will be as passive.

Frank:
I don't mind, I really don't mind. Just so long as we get something.

Andrew:
[sees that Anne and Frank are engrossed in their work in the haunted house and sneaks up behind them] Boo!

Frank:
[startled] Ooooooo!

Dr. Anne Reynolds:
[startled and mildly exasperated] Have you finished, Andrew?

Tom Crane:
[to Roy Martindale] I have a long memory and no-one's going to take that away.

Tom Crane:
[angry] No, Roy. No hypnotherapy. Not with you and not with your precious Dr. Bruckner.

Edward Drexil:
[dying from a gunshot wound] Crane... your wife. Nothing personal, old boy. I just... orders. [dies]

Tom Crane:
[wakes up groggy in a room, sees Roy Martindale] Am I supposed to say 'How did I get here'?

Roy Martindale:
I believe you invited Mrs Arden in for a cup of coffee. [smiles] Mistake.

Edward Drexil:
No one makes trouble for me, Mr Crane. Not if they've any sense.

Edward Drexil:
Nobody 'makes trouble' for me, Mr Crane, not if they've any sense.

Tom Crane:
[angry] Are you threatening me?

Edward Drexil:
I'm merely suggesting you leave well alone. Don't meddle in things that don't concern you and which you don't know enough about.

Tom Crane:
And if I persist?

Edward Drexil:
Then I should have to stop you.

Tom Crane:
It could be interesting to know how.

Edward Drexil:
[surprised] You want me to show you? You want me to put fear into you? I can do that.

Tom Crane:
[show of bravado] Do I sit down and wait or will it happen elsewhere?

Edward Drexil:
You will find out. Very soon.

Tom Crane:
I'm interested.

Edward Drexil:
One minor demonstration. One small salutory warning and I think you will leave Edinburgh. If you don't, there will be another demonstration and I assure you, you will not ignore that.

Tom Crane:
[visibly frightened] It seems it's the appropriate time for me to leave then. Goodnight, Drexil.

Edward Drexil:

Tom Crane:

Dr. Anne Reynolds:
[screams and smashes the mirror between the rooms]
