A Chucklewood Easter

Rosie:
Bridgette, you're awake, and my, have you lost weight.

Bridgette:
So would you if you've been on a crash diet all winter.

Rosie:
Well, we'll soon fix that. Breakfast is almost ready.

Buttons:
What's this? I don't remember there being any fork in the tunnel.

Rusty:
Well, I made some improvements while you were still hibernating.

Buttons:
Gee, Rusty, you're new short cut's a lot of fun. Ouch!

Rusty:
That's funny. Last time I tried it, there was a big pile of nice soft snow right here.

Rusty:
Never try to figure out a rabbit.

Rusty:
Tell us all about the Easter Bunny!

Buttons:
Is that who all these flowers are for?

Skipper:
Well, in a way.

Bluebell:
Sure, they are.

Rusty:
You mean, you know the Easter Bunny?

Bluebell:
Doesn't everyone?

Skipper:
Shhh!

Buttons:
Where does he live?

Skipper:
Sorry, Buttons, but that's something only rabbits should know.

Bluebell:
That's right, because if anyone found out that the Easter Bunny lives down by the...

Skipper:
Shhh! Come on, Bluebell! The sun's going down, and you know what that means!

Rusty:
I'd feel better if I knew where we were, but there's nobody around to ask.

Abner:
[examining an egg] This big one is obviously a duck egg.

Bridgette:
Isn't that a turtle egg, Abner?

Abner:
Nope. Trust me, Bridgette, I know what I'm talking about.

Edwina:
Two shells? That's strange. I've never seen a duckling with two shells!

Rusty:
"Dear Buttons and Rusty, I hope you've learned now to keep your nose out of other critters' nests. Good. Because it wouldn't be right if you were the only cubs in Chucklewood Park to come home to an empty basket. So, Happy Easter."

Buttons:
"Signed, The Easter Bunny."
