Adam Taylor: And she's a film girl too. Most film girls look like Peter Lorre.
Adam Taylor: Hi, my name's Adam, and I don't have an act. And not having an act is my act.
Lauren: Yeah? Well, you see this watch? This watch holds twenty numbers. Twenty numbers.
Adam Taylor: Sure, that works for you, cause you're Sean, and everybody loves Sean. You're the fucking Pete Rose of women.
Jason: Hey, the coffee shop's hiring. I bet you could get a job.
Adam Taylor: No thanks. I'm happy with the one I've got.
Pete Jubois: Did I mention that I've got V.D.?
Lauren: Well, what makes you think I'd want to go out with you?
Adam Taylor: Because the other night at the bar, you looked back.
Lauren: I looked back. So?
Adam Taylor: So you don't have to watch a lot of romantic comedies to know what that means.

Pete Jubois: He just totally dissed the director. That man is gonna be a star.
Sean: If you could just forget how scared you can be sometimes, and listen to your heart, you just might impress yourself.
Pete Jubois: Somebody said it's raining outside.
Lauren: Oh no.
Adam Taylor: What? Every good romantic comedy needs a rain scene.
Lauren: But this isn't a movie.
Adam Taylor: Life's kinda like a movie sometimes.
Adam Taylor: Hey, Lauren, you got a minute?
Lauren: I don't know, I'm a little busy.
Adam Taylor: Who's the director here?
Lauren: Hey, there are two people on a set you don't tell what to do and that's the key grip and the gaffer.
Adam Taylor: And you're neither.
Lauren: So let's talk.
