John Fellows Akers (born December 28, 1934) is a U.S. computer businessman currently on the Board of Directors of Lehman Brothers. He was the president of IBM between 1983 and 1989. He was the CEO of IBM from 1984 until 1993; and chairman of IBM between 1986 and 1993
