Destiny doesn't stay in the stars, but she lives within our characters IMO. Our characters are governed by our actions, while our actions are driven by our thoughts. So ultimately it's our thoughts that truly control our Destiny. Who we're today, and who we'll become tomorrow is thus purely directed by our thought process. Hence, thinking positively becomes the key to awesome "Now" and amazing "Tomorrow". Destiny is never a matter of chance, but a matter of choice that we make every moment. So, think positively - always!
Jesus' ministry was clearly defined, and the alternatives to the illusion and temptations of the desert were spelled out. A choice was made--life abundant, full, and free for all. Make no mistake about it, the day that choice was made, Jesus became suspect. That day in the temple he sealed the fate already prepared for him. How was the world to understand one who rejected an offer of power and control
Neo I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid... afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell how it's going to begin. I'm going to hang up this phone, and then show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules or controls, borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.
Reputation and Character are not one and the same thing. They are radically different. Reputation is what others think of you, while Character is what God knows about you. People can manipulate the thinking of others, but they cannot hide or change the truth that is known to God, the Supreme Power. Whenever you come across a dilemma, and you have to make a choice from various options, you must think of the Truth first before thinking about the Reputation. Truth will always build your Character, set you free, and bring you closer to Supreme Power.
The best way of travel, however, if you aren't in any hurry at all, if you don't care where you are going, if you don't like to use your legs, if you don't want to be annoyed at all by any choice of directions, is in a balloon. In a balloon, you can decide only when to start, and usually when to stop. The rest is left entirely to nature.
When making a decision of minor importance, I have always found it advantageous to consider all the pros and cons. In vital matters, however, such as the choice of a mate or a profession, the decision should come from the unconscious, from somewhere within ourselves. In the important decisions of personal life, we should be governed, I think, by the deep inner needs of our nature.
Without Christ, sciences in every department are vain....The man who knows not God is vain, though he should be conversant with every branch of learning. Nay more, we may affirm this too with truth, that these choice gifts of God -- expertness of mind, acuteness of judgment, liberal sciences, and acquaintance with languages, are in a manner profaned in every instance in which they fall to the lot of wicked men.
You can always differentiate cheap restaurants from high-class restaurants by looking at the menus that they offer. Cheap and low class restaurants always talk about "You", like "All You Can Eat", "Your Choice" etc. High class and expensive restaurants, on the other hand, always offer their own terms, such as "Chef's Choice", "Gourmet Food" etc. When you are the best and cut above the rest, you don't need to lure with inciting and seductive language to attract. Your quality par excellence and high standards will do that job very well. Strive to be extraordinary, and the world will follow you.
You do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. Do not even listen, simply wait, be quiet still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked, it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.
We gain amazing confidence and courage on every occasion, invariably, when we work outside our comfort zone. When we are outside our element, we have no choice but to challenge ourselves in order to win against all odds, and in the face of fear and uncertainty. In my view, we offer our best performance when we have to operate outside our comfort zone, just like a meteor enters Earth's gravitational field and shines with the brightest light that illuminates the sky. Hence we mustn't fear leaving our comfort zone or being outside our element any time. Instead, we should challenge the status quo to offer the best performance in an unfamiliar territory. This is how we reinvent ourselves, and become the better versions of ourselves than ever before.
