What's the point of learning how to transform if we can't do it under fire?

Jetstorm:
You broke 'em, you bought 'em, kitty cat! You again? What say we finish this once and for all?

Black Arachnia:
Music to my ears. Shall we dance?

Silverbolt:
How can you stand the sight of me? Look at what I've become.

Black Arachnia:
Your spark is strong. Megatron could never crush your spirit.

Silverbolt:
What do you know about my spirit?

Black Arachnia:
Where do you think you're going? Do you have any idea what I went through to get you back again?

Silverbolt:

Optimus Primal:
Keep them busy. I can reformat him.

Cheetor:

Black Arachnia:

Rattrap:

Cheetor:

Rattrap:
Would you believe, from inside Thrust?

Nightscream:
Ugh! I am NOT chasing down her spark again.

Nightscream:
Spark (A) goes into shell (B). How hard can it be?

Rattrap:
Ah, Silverbolt, buddy, it is great to have you back!

Optimus Primal:

Cheetor:
The old gang is finally all together again... Well, mostly. Sorry, Big Bot.

Optimus Primal:
No. Rhinox is gone... I accept that. We have to take our victories where we find them and assure that no other spark shares his fate.

Black Arachnia:

Rattrap:

Nightscream:
Going somewhere, tailpipe?

Thrust:
Just looking for something worth fragging.

Nightscream:
Me, too. I guess we both got lucky.

Thrust:

Nightscream:

Nightscream:

Diagnostic Drone:

Rattrap:

[Nightscream screeches]

Rattrap:

Nightscream:
No problem. Next time look out for yourself. I don't know why I did that.

Cheetor:
You could've brought this whole tunnel down on our heads!

Black Arachnia:
Who led us down here in the first place right into an ambush?

Black Arachnia:
I already lost you once. I won't lose you again.

Silverbolt:
Don't worry. Whatever happens, we will always be together, forever.

Diagnostic Drone:
Sire... Megatron will be very suspicious of your absence, not to mention mine.

Tankorr:
I have a more important task for you.

Diagnostic Drone:
Does it include smelting?

Tankorr:
Behold... The Oracle. The old Autobot history data-tracks refer to a powerful spheroid computer called Vector Sigma.

Diagnostic Drone:
And you believe the Oracle to be this Vector Sigma?

Tankorr:
The data-tracks also mention a key to Vector Sigma which can turn organics into technomatter. Optimus and Megatron have no idea of its power.

Diagnostic Drone:
Sadly, neither do you.

The Oracle:
This unit does not contain the receptive spark. Access denied.

Diagnostic Drone:
Pity. It appears we're in need of a receptive spark.

Tankorr:
Or, perhaps... one who has no spark at all!

Diagnostic Drone:
I see where this is going.

Nightscream:
Oh, yeah, he's all guts and glory now. Where was this chimp when I was tracking down Noble?

Rattrap:
If it was up to me, he'd have let schizo-dog rip your circuits out a long time ago.

Jetstorm:
SO! YOU'VE COME BACK TO FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED!

Black Arachnia:
WHAT'RE YOU TALKING ABOUT? YOU AMBUSHED US!

Thrust:
THAT'S RIGHT! FOR AMBUSHING US!

Rattrap:
That's it. They have lost it.

Black Arachnia:
ON MY WORD AS A SPIDER, well, a Maximal, WE'RE ONLY HERE TO TALK!

Rattrap:
You can't reformat a house plant.

Black Arachnia:
Not unless it's a Transformer.

Megatron:
Ahh Optimus. You ran off before we could talk last time, and we have so much to discuss.

Cheetor:

Silverbolt:
Luck had nothing to do with it. HE led us here.

Megatron:
[laughing] Welcome, my once and future general. I've been expecting you. Prepare to endure the same hospitality.

Black Arachnia:
Oh, it's you. Too bad; I was hoping to take some robo-tanks offline with me.

Cheetor:
Blackarachnia? Hehe, boy, am I glad to see you.

Black Arachnia:
Yeah! Isn't this cozy? Now we can all deactivate together.

Optimus Primal:
No one is deactivating on my watch!

Black Arachnia:
Impressive rebuttal, primate. But unless I miss my guess, you three can't transform out of beast mode anymore than I can. I give us three cycles before we all go offline, for good.

Thrust:
We've got places to go, things to see! Heh, and destroy.

Optimus Primal:

Nightscream:

Cheetor:

Optimus Primal:

Black Arachnia:
Silverbolt!

Jetstorm:

Thrust:

Black Arachnia:
Three mindless drones. Shouldn't be a problem.

Jetstorm:
Only three things wrong with that little theory. One, we're not drones. Two, we're not mindless, and three, Problem's my middle name!

Cheetor:
Well, kid, are you in or out?

Nightscream:
In. Oh, and by the way, it's Nightscream.

Black Arachnia:
'Step into my parlor', said the spider to the fly-boy.

[the Maximals fall through a hole Optimus Primal punched in the ground. Silverbolt catches Black Arachnia in his arms]

Black Arachnia:
I thought you said love was a luxury you couldn't afford?

Silverbolt:
We'll discuss it later.

Black Arachnia:
[Blackarachnia puts her hand on Jetstorm's face] You're free to join us now. We can be together again, Silverbolt.

Nightscream:
Why is she so hung up on getting her old boyfriend's spark out of that guy?

Rattrap:
[sighing] You're young. You'll learn.

Jetstorm:
Well, well, well, your current situation exactly matches your location... *Terminal*!

Thrust:
Nothing noble about us...

Jetstorm:
But savage, we can do that.

Nightscream:
I thought you losers were out of business.

Jetstorm:
Guess again, bat boy. We're back on the winning team.

Optimus Primal:

Rattrap:
Whoo hoo! Does it ever feel good to be a team again.

Black Arachnia:
What's wrong?

Silverbolt:
Megatron used me to infect all of you. Still happy to have me back?

Optimus Primal:

Silverbolt:
This... This is my fault. I never should have returned.

Black Arachnia:
That's right, just run away from your problems.

Rattrap:
Yeah! Good riddance!

Black Arachnia:

[angry shouting]

Rattrap:
Take it from an authority on the subject, I SMELL A RAT. Hello! This thing is sending an activation signal right through the ground.

Silverbolt:
To trigger a preplanted virus, right? HIDDEN IN ME?

Rattrap:
Yup! And it's a nasty piece of business, too. It had an adrenaline booster, neocortex suppressor, and a shut-off on the self-diagnostic. And it's contagious.

Nightscream:
It must be a new strain of that ancient hate-plague virus. Or didn't you guys ever take history?

Cheetor:
So how do we counteract it?

Rattrap:
In two words? Im-possible.

Megatron:
aand I have two more words for you Maximals: GOOD-BYE!

Black Arachnia:
Why don't you keep your long twitchy nose out of it?

Rattrap:
Why should I keep my nose out of it when loverboy's spent so much time trying to blow it off my face?

Silverbolt:
Evidently I didn't try hard enough.

Cheetor:
Hey, guys! Quit fighting. What are you trying to prove? That your logic circuits are all fried?

[Angry shouting]

Silverbolt:
[stopping the others from fighting] This madness ends *now*!

Optimus Primal:
Yeah. Starting with *you*!

Silverbolt:
Stop! We've all been infected with a virus. Can't you feel it?

Nightscream:
Why should we trust you, Jetstorm?

Silverbolt:
*Because*! I know better than anyone that the hating and the hurting have got to end.

Optimus Primal:
Yeah. You're right.

Optimus Primal:
That's it! We've got to work together to reform our neural pathways! That's the only way to destroy the virus and cure us!

Silverbolt:
The menace is past. At last we can truly be together, dark venom of my heart.

Black Arachnia:
Oh, of all the corny...

The Oracle:
At long last. Transform your destiny. Transform and transcend.

Cheetor:
I, understand.

Rattrap:
It just doesn't feel like victory without the boss monkey.

Cheetor:
He's with us, Rattrap. As long as Cybertron is alive, Optimus will live on in our hearts and our memories, as will Megatron, who also played a vital role in the grand scheme. The vision from the Oracle has come to pass. Optimus finally achieved his mission.

Thrust:
NO! I just lost my boss! Everything's falling apart. I'm not about to lose my only friend as well!

Jetstorm:
We're friends?

Thrust:
Why not?

Black Arachnia:
Mind your manners. I rescued your spark from oblivion. I chose you as my general for a reason.

Black Arachnia:
Yeah! To satisfy his twisted sense of humor. Don't listen to him.

Megatron:
You are a creature of honor, Silverbolt. You fight for just causes. I gave you such a cause.

Black Arachnia:
The destruction of all organic life?

Megatron:
Cybertron is a haven for machines... where Optimus was deluded by the visions of a malfunctioning computer I have been restoring Cybertron's purity and surely that is the most honorable cause of all.

Black Arachnia:
A world without free will? Where's the honor in that? Don't listen to him, Silverbolt. He turned you into a monster.

Megatron:
I gave you strength. I gave you courage.

Black Arachnia:
We gave you friendship... I gave you my heart.

Megatron:
I gave you power. I gave you life.

Silverbolt:
You gave me NOTHING!

Black Arachnia:
Silverbolt?

Silverbolt:
Blackarachnia?

Black Arachnia:
Is it really you?

Silverbolt:

Black Arachnia:
Silverbolt! Come back!

Silverbolt:
I don't hate Megatron for what he made me do. He freed me from my code of honor, and I revelled in it. Don't you see? I... enjoyed it. I don't know what I am anymore.

Black Arachnia:
You are what you've always been... Honest, pure, virtuous to a fault.

Silverbolt:
You're taking a huge risk.

Black Arachnia:
Considering how well I know the goodness in your heart, it really isn't a risk at all.

Jetstorm:
[Jetstorm gets caught in Blackarachnia's webbing and falls into a puddle of organic goo which activates the spark extracator/DNA scanner device that she planted on Jetstorm's back; wailing] No! Pain!

Black Arachnia:
No! Don't fight it.

Jetstorm:
[groaning] Ahh!

Black Arachnia:
[the D.N.A. scanner finds condor fossils in the catacomb walls]

Black Arachnia:
[gasps] Silverbolt?

Optimus Primal:
Rattrap, delay that order! Maximals, stand down.

Cheetor:
But, Optimus, he was...

Optimus Primal:
Rhinox has made, his choice. If we tamper with his mind then we're no better than Megatron. Let him go. Megatron wants this planet to run harmoniously. But harmony without free will isn't harmony at all, freedom at all.

[to Tankorr]

Optimus Primal:
I pray you understand that in time.

Rhinox:
Good-bye, Optimus. When we meet again, it will not be as allies.

Cheetor:
[underground] How could you let him go? He wasn't just one of us, he was, the best of us.

Black Arachnia:
He doesn't like it any more than you do, Cheetor, so let it go. He understands the Matrix, and our role in the grand scheme.

Black Arachnia:
Look, Jetstorm, I just came here to reason with that part of you that's still... Silverbolt.

Jetstorm:
Get it through your CPU! That program has been deleted. I'm Jetstorm, PERIOD!

Black Arachnia:
Watch it, lugnuts, Silverbolt was my friend!

Black Arachnia:
Oh, forget it! I'm tired of pleading with you.

Nightscream:
I hate to be a busybatty but what's with you and Legs?

Silverbolt:
Until the threat of Megatron is quelled, love is a luxury I can't afford.

Nightscream:

Obsidian:
Although he took his name from a great leader, Optimus Primal never learned the first rule of warfare: Never underestimate your opponent.

Strika:
'Terminate'. 'Obliterate'. Can you believe they fell for that?

Optimus Primal:
[Later] Whoever you are, you're being duped into betraying your own people!

Obsidian:
On the contrary. I was configured to defend Cybertron. And such has always been my mission.

Optimus Primal:

Obsidian:
I am as I've always been: Obsidian! And you remember my consort, Strika.

Rattrap:
Oh man. We been dukin' it out with two of the greatest generals in Cybertronian history!

Optimus Primal:
Obsidian, this is treason! Megatron decimated Cybertron!

Obsidian:
Megatron IS Cybertron! To defend one is to defend the other. And to betray Megatron is to invite death.

Waspinator:
Chick-bots dig brooding loner bit!

Waspinator:
Oh glitch! Just when Waspinator making move on spider-bot!

Silverbolt:
Sir, you insult my lady's honor! I have at you!

Silverbolt, Waspinator:
Doggy Bot not here.

Silverbolt:
Black Arachnia... oh dark poison of my heart!

Black Arachnia:
There's only... one Transformer... who could say something that corny with a straight face!

Silverbolt:
