  This quote was taken so out of context. We were discussing Ovid's Metamorphosis, a greek tragedy, in my Literature Humanities class that was being filmed. I was saying how sickening the line about Daphne being called a fugitive and being hunted down by Apollo, as if she was supposed to be caught was not right. She was being persued and harassed and normally a fugitive is someone who is supposed to be caught not a young women who is being stalked, that does not make her a fugitve. more »
