Ikkanzaka Jiroubou:
[walking up behind her, sounding casual] That was the first time I've seen that technique... but there wasn't a shread of intent to kill in your attack! [she looks behind her] With a technique like that, you may be able to kill a Hollow, but it couldn't possibly work against a Death God.

Inoue Orihime:
[frightened, thinking] My body won't move...

Ikkanzaka Jiroubou:
[raises his soul slayer] This is a battlefield! There is not one thing here that can be stopped by an attack devoid of intent to kill!

[he brings his soul slayer down; Orihime is still to scared to move; but seconds befor it can hit her, an arrow flies through the air & knocks his hand aside, leaving a decent sized cut where it struck him; he looks at his now bleeding hand in surprise]

Ishida Uryu:
[calmly standing there, smoke coming from the hand that just fired his arrow] You want an attack with intent to kill? In that case, you should fight me. There's plenty in my bow... [pause] of that "intent to kill" you like so much.
