MisteRogers' Neighborhood

MisteRogers' Neighborhood1968

Charles R. Aber:
I just thought since everything that's happened that you might to talk with somebody.

Lady Elaine Fairchilde:
What's there to talk about?

Charles R. Aber:
Oh, maybe, your feelings and... *other* people's feelings?

Lady Elaine Fairchilde:
[irritated] Now don't get into all that.

Charles R. Aber:
[trying to stay reasonable] But you must have had a reason to do what you did.

Lady Elaine Fairchilde:
You mean turning Grandpere's tower upside down?

Charles R. Aber:
Yes.

Lady Elaine Fairchilde:
I was mad, and I used my Boomerang Toomerang Soomerang.

Charles R. Aber:
Lady Elaine, that's no reason to turn someone's place upside down.

Lady Elaine Fairchilde:
[threateningly] Don't start harping at me or else I'll turn you into a doll!

Charles R. Aber:
I don't mean to harp... [suddenly realizes what she just said] Excuse me? You'll do what?

Lady Elaine Fairchilde:
I'll turn you into a doll just like I'm afraid I did to Speedy Delivery.

Charles R. Aber:
[thinking it's just an idle threat and tries to maintain a serious conversation] Now stop your joking, Lady Elaine.

Lady Elaine Fairchilde:
It's no joke. Just look over there. [Standing against the wall is the Mr. McFeely doll]

Charles R. Aber:
[slowly picks up the doll and looks at it, in shock and disbelief] Lady Elaine, you didn't.

Lady Elaine Fairchilde:
I don't remember it, but I think I did. And I may have to do it to you or anyone else who comes here. So goodbye. [disappears before Aber can reply]
