She's an ice demon, a creature of cold - floats through the trees like a... a wraith, stalking travelers, hungry for their warmth and their blood; then, with a terrifying shriek, she swoops to kill, freezing her prey with fear, then... then... drinking her fill.

Who said this was a story? Eh, they say that the Yuki-Onna spills the blood of her victims. The roots of the trees drink it up, and that's why the wood is red. And that's why you can hear the trees moan in the wind.
