I was just tellin' your father that you're real good on a horse. Not many women can handle them like you do.

Joan Ransom:
Oh, it's not hard - not if you know the tricks.

Frank 'Flip' Flippen:
Oh? Is there something I can learn?

Joan Ransom:
I think so. First you have to distract there attention. Hey, look!

[when Flip turns, Joan knocks him to the ground]

Joan Ransom:
Then you put them in their place...

[Joan places her boot firmly in the middle of Flip's chest]

Joan Ransom:
Then you keep them there. Otherwise they think they're dealing with a fan-talker who's more interested in good looks than good sense... and when they've learned their first lesson you tell them to go on into the house and drink their coffee.

Frank 'Flip' Flippen:
And since when do horses drink coffee?

Joan Ransom:
Since when have we been talking about horses?
