I grew up in South Texas and I had to do cotillion to become a debutante.

Lorre and Prady have obviously never actually BEEN to the South. You only do cotillion if you're a debutante, and the Cooper household was certainly not one in that particular socio-economic position.

  I grew up in TN and basically EVERYONE had to go through cotillion. It was almost taboo if you didn't.
