Many people are afraid of Change, because they view it as the destroyer of their comfort zones. They fail miserably to see that the same Change is the creator of something new, exciting, and of potential value in their lives. Do not be afraid of Change, but do make an effort to manage it when the Opportunity knocks on your door.

Deodatta V. Shenai-Khatkhate

Modern life is full of challenges, such as daily demands, deadlines, hassles and frustrations. Whenever the threat of any challenge outweighs one's perception of her/his ability to manage that threat, it can be an onset of Stress. I find it interesting that William Shakespear had offered a perfect strategy to manage the Stress - in his famous play "Hamlet". In this play, Hamlet makes a powerful statement: "There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so." In this one sentence, Shakespear teaches us that if we change our thoughts about a potentially threatening situation, we should be able to not only cope with the stress, but also lower our stress significantly. By now it's a well-established fact in Psychology that thinking positively, and transforming the threat into a potntial opportunity, empowers us to protect ourselves from the harmful side-effects of Stress.....and William Shakespear knew this fact more than 400 years ago. That's amazing!

Neo I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid... afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell how it's going to begin. I'm going to hang up this phone, and then show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules or controls, borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.

Margaret Mead

No one can persuade another to change. Each of us guards a gate of change that can only be opened from the inside. We cannot open the gate of another, either by argument or emotional appeal.

Marilyn Ferguson

Dennis Ruane

Our days are a kaleidoscope. Every instant a change takes place in the contents. New harmonies, new contrasts, new combinations of every sort. Nothing ever happens twice alike. The most familiar people stand each moment in some new relation to each other, to their work, to surrounding objects. The most tranquil house, with the most serene inhabitants, living upon the utmost regularity of system, is yet exemplifying infinite diversities.

Henry Ward Beecher

Persistance is teperfect key to open any doors that are shut by Resistance. Small and tiny rain drops can create holes in the solid rocks, not because of their force but the constancy of their attack - highlighting the fact that the Persuation can surely break down even the mightiest walls of resistance. Pursue your Dreams and Philosophies, relentlessly, to bring about the Change.

Deodatta V. Shenai-Khatkhate

Physics does not change the nature of the world it studies, and no science of behavior can change the essential nature of man, even though both sciences yield technologies with a vast power to manipulate their subject matters.

B. F. Skinner

Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.

George Bernard Shaw

Reputation and Character are not one and the same thing. They are radically different. Reputation is what others think of you, while Character is what God knows about you. People can manipulate the thinking of others, but they cannot hide or change the truth that is known to God, the Supreme Power. Whenever you come across a dilemma, and you have to make a choice from various options, you must think of the Truth first before thinking about the Reputation. Truth will always build your Character, set you free, and bring you closer to Supreme Power.

Resistance to Change comes from your Ego.

Gordana Biernat

Small actions can cause great harm, especially when those actions become habits. So just a little tiny change in the right place at the right time, everything will be much better.

Woody Haldrugold

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than facts.... We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes.

Charles R. Swindoll

The philosophers have already perceived the world in various ways; the point is to change it.

Karl Marx, from "The Eleventh Thesis on Feuerbach"

The phrase "Survival of the fittest" was first coined by Herbert Spencer in his "Principles of Biology" (1864) after reading Charles Darwin's theory of "natural selection" discussed in "On the Origin of Species" by Darwin - published in the same year. Five years later, Darwin first used Spencer's new phrase "Survival of the fittest" alongside his phrase "natural selection" in his fifth edition of "On the Origin of Species", published in 1869. It's interesting to note that "fittest" is often misconstrued as either the strongest of the species or the most intelligent species, which is neither an accurate description nor the interpretation desired by Darwin in his theory. In actuality, the fittest species is the one that is the most adaptable to change. In other words, those who can become most well adapted to current environment and the changes therein, can have the chance and opportunity to survive. Darwin's theory of natural selection teaches us that it's absolutely important to welcome the change, and manage the change for survival and for becoming the winner. It's really interesting that being the most adaptable to change often outweighs the strength and intelligence factors, contrary to the common understanding of life and the phrase "Survival of the fittest.

With their imagination and creativity, they change the dream world into real world. We need many of those "few crazy ones" who have made our world so wonderful.

There globalization of trade, knowledge, innovation, industrialization and entrepreneurial culture is increasing at a rapid rate and the net result is more distribution of wealth and power. True friend is the one who brings about million magical changes in your life in a matter of few moments. True friends are so rare and hard to find. Good luck in finding your True Friend!
