For a variety of reasons, the NCAA is limited in what it can do, it’s limited by what its rules say it can do, it’s not the NCAA saying we care about an improper benefit of $1,000 more than we care about sexual assault. It’s our jurisdiction covers the improper benefits. It doesn’t cover these other areas.

I don't know how far even Democratic or liberal Congress people are willing to go in terms of revenue sharing, many people don't want to be the ones responsible or potentially taking the blame for damaging this sport or this industry that millions of people love.

Fans do not have legal standing or a cause of action simply because they are unhappy with how a team performs or acts on the field, if fans were allowed to sue for breach of contract every time they were disappointed with the performance or conduct of a player, there would be an unending string of lawsuits across the country.
