Your two wonderful statements made today from your embattled semi-secure HQ in Kyiv show a REMARKABLE sense of empathy with not just the Ukrainian people , but indeed ALL. While speaking publicly to your own people today, you ended your impassioned remarks with the statement (a loose quote): "We are all going to continue to fight - we will never give up, and we will WIN... We go on to pursue inevitable victory in our PATRIOTIC WAR..." - Brilliant - EVERY RUSSIAN ARMY SOLDIER, MANY politicians, and hopefully scads of Russian Federation citizens through whatever sources were able to hear those words... They couldn't fail to see the significance of the phrase "Patriotic War" in your statement, invoking it to remind the Russian people of their OWN "Great Patriotic War" - the national title given to the massive war they fought on their own soil to reconquer their country from the jackboots of Naziism during the four years of WW2... In similar fashion, your own masterful reminder to the British Parliament in a speech over internet invoking Churchill: "We'll fight in the hills, the streets, on the beaches, we'll fight in the cities, In the air, on the sea, in the forests, to defend our land..."... May you GET those fighter jets, the land weaponry, and every type of help you require to accomplish it... We may YET wind up in a shooting war together...   some guy say your comments are brilliant - i say they are standards, ethics, values, care, righteous, respect for all - i say if able, it keeps all heads held up high with those attributes - i say that is the most fundamental-basic-rights being recognized with implementation as best as you can - more »

  Brilliant! I pray to God that he does good by his people and they prosper. Seems young but is a people’s man. Wise choice by the Ukrainians. Hope other world leaders would think on these lines ...... ppl come first! more »
