What, still early morning...? [a plane crashes through her window]

Cleopatra:
What is this?... It's customary to knock on the front door when you come calling!

Suen:
[looking around] What happened to you?

Cleopatra:
I don't know, but there are better ways to wake up!

Cleopatra:
[at the plane, brandishing a chair] Hey, come out!

Robert:
[stunned] Marianne...

Cleopatra:
You've gotta be kidding. This is a heck of a time to be calling out a girl's name!

Robert:
Marianne...

Suen:
Unless he has a good reason...

Suen:
A love triangle?

Cleopatra:
It's an awful story. When he went to take back his fianc?, he was attacked.

[watching a critically injured Robert in intensive care, on a TV monitor]

Suen:
It would be dangerous to get involved.

Cleopatra:
But I can't help feeling sorry for the poor guy...

Suen:
What?

Cleopatra:
Look at him. He always says...

Robert:
Marianne...

Shorty:
[at a monitor] This is Marianne, daughter of the President of the Harbour Oil Company.

Cleopatra:
Wow, pretty!

Shorty:
She and Robert got engaged a month ago. But then this man, Shintagma Junior, fell in love at first sight, and kidnapped her.

Suen:
How awful!

Cleopatra:
Unbelievable!

Eric:
No, it's believable. Love is fragile; power and money only corrupt it.

Suen:
Eric, what do you mean?

Eric:
People are fickle. One cannot trust his own feelings, no matter how beautiful. [Cleo and Swen exchange bemused glances]

Shorty:
Shintagma Junior is known as Apollo, the sun god. He manages an oil field, leases a tanker and develops related businesses. People call him the king of the shipping industry. He is a playboy who became Chairman of the Shintagma Group at a young age. Divorced, eighteen times; if he has an eye on someone, he woos her with power and wealth.

Cleopatra:
Wait a minute. Why would he jeopardize himself by kidnapping the daughter of a client?

Shorty:
Harbour Oil can't keep its business if Shintagma cancels their contract.

[Cleo and Suen gasp]

Shorty:
Harbour Oil leases a tanker from Shintagma Junior. If Shintagma cancels it, there will be trouble for Harbour Oil. They couldn't deliver their oil, and the company would soon go bankrupt. Marianne would be in the middle of it all.

Cleopatra:
Suen, I think we should help.

Cleopatra:
Shorty, raise the funds. Eric, take care of OPEC and Wall Street.

Nacky:
Hi Cleo, I brought you Japanese rice crackers!

Cleopatra:
Thanks, Nacky!

Suen:
Nacky, fly to Saudi Arabia right away.

Nacky:

Cleopatra:

Don't worry, Suen... [Everyone in the party suddenly brings out firearms]

[on a yacht with Marianne]

Shintagma Junior:
The sea air has such a delicious fragrance, don't you think?

Shintagma Junior:
[to himself] This little lamb is delicious as well...

Cleopatra:
[to Marianne] Oh, your father doesn't care if Shintagma cancels the lease contract. He said he wants you to be happy even if Harbour Oil goes bankrupt.

Marianne:
Daddy... [tears form in her eyes]

Cleopatra:
Marianne... this is from Robert. It's not much, but he wants you to have it. [takes out an object from her pocket and gives it to Marianne]

Marianne:
From Robert? [sees the object is a ring]

Cleopatra:
A woman can regard a ring of glass as one of diamond.

Suen:
If it comes from the bottom of the heart, the weight or size of jewelry is never important to a woman. What matters is the magnitude of your love, right?

Suen:
[at a monitor] Nacky, how's everything?

Nacky:

Suen:

[after the crisis has been resolved]

Nacky:

Shintagma Junior:
Cleopatra... thanks to her, our oil fields were saved. This peace is the best feeling in the world... [a missile lands at Shintagma's mansion]

Shintagma Junior:
[shaken] Unbelievable! They sent a bill by ICBM!

Cleopatra:
I confirmed your payment: 100 billion for oil fields 182 and 183.

Cleopatra:
Hi, New York! You're looking fine today!

[offering her top to Tina]

Cleopatra:
Put this on. I don't want you to get a cold before you tell me what's going on.

Tina:
Please help me! They're going to hurt me!

Cleopatra:
I can tell! Someone who rips clothes from a girl in the street ain't exactly their best friend. Get in!

Tina:
I have something from my brother. He told me to get rid of this as soon as possible... [takes out a large diamond, the Pharaoh]

Suen:
That's incredible... such a huge diamond!

Cleopatra:
Diamond? Really?

Tina:
Yes. "Get rid of this diamond, or the world will be destroyed by fire." My brother said that would happen if Pharaoh becomes a star.

Cleopatra:
Pharaoh becomes a star?

Eric:
We have completed the program concerning alloy experiments in an outer space environment.

[Shorty gets off the phone with Cleo]

Eric:
What did they say?

Shorty:
Hard to hear, but they said something about a diamond.

Eric:
Ah. Cleo was planning to go shopping for pierced earrings today.

Shorty:
Pierced earrings? She is a happy-go-lucky girl. She shops while we attempt industrial experiments in outer space...

[after Tina is abducted]

Cleopatra:
What the hell was that?

Suen:
Are you okay, Cleo?

Cleopatra:
I'm all right. I just got a little grazed back there.

Suen:
Nakky, are you okay? Are you still alive?

Nacky:
[pants torn] Yeah... but I almost got my ass shot off...

Suen:
NO! DON'T SHOW ME! [hurls a table at Nacky]

Cleopatra:
Like a monkey's. Pity...

Shorty:
I got the story. We have to help this girl Tina.

Cleopatra:
Of course! They're fighting against Corns, I've GOT to fight back!

Cleopatra:
How impolite! King Kong displayed better manners climbing up a building with a girl!

Dr. Randall:
[on radio] Anybody there? All the four aces of Corns: if you want to get her back safely, give us the diamond. Otherwise...

Cleopatra:
Otherwise, what? If you touch her, I'll break your head and feed it to a turkey!

Suen:
[amused] Cleo, watch your mouth.

Dr. Randall:
Energetic and charming, as always...

Cleopatra:
Exercise DC! Collecting information about this case is Priority One! Request help from each subsidiary company!

Suen:
[arms a pistol] I don't want to use this, but just in case... [sees Cleopatra is arming a shotgun]

Suen:
We aren't going elephant hunting in Africa!

Cleopatra:
With such a small piece, how can you possibly face that Gatling gun?

Suen:
[looking at a scanner] Tina's safe.

Cleopatra:
What's that?

Suen:
There's a location device in her underwear. We can detect her from as far away as 500 meters.

Cleopatra:
When did you plant it?

Suen:
You wear one, too. So do I. It's made from special fabric and a thin semiconductor which works by body temperature and friction.

Cleopatra:
Wow! Cutting-edge technology.

Nacky:
You mean, I got one too?

Suen:
Not yet, but I can rig one up for you if you like.

Nacky:
No thanks. I like my freedom.

Shorty:
We found out that Tina's brother, Yona Badam, was an agent of the British Intelligence Service.

Tina Badam:
He was?

Suen:
What was his assignment?

Shorty:
I haven't found out yet, but it was something of high importance...

Nacky:
Hey, Cleo! You've survived again!

Cleopatra:
Nacky!

Shorty:
Where are you?

Nacky:
Florida, Cape Kennedy.

Suen:
What happened? You left us last night.

Nacky:
Sorry about that. Their chopper was taking off and I had to follow.

Cleopatra:
Why do you always run such a risk? We were worried sick about you!

Cleopatra:
Who is this Doctor Randall?

Suen:
Doctor Randall used to be a top executive at Corns.

Cleopatra:
Really?

Eric:
He was kicked out because he tried to take control of the entire company. Controlling Corns means controlling more than half the world.

Shorty:
He's a dangerous man: cruel and ambitious. I thought he had died long ago.

Cleopatra:
But what is the big problem?

Suen:
The woman we met on the island is a member of Sleider Group. If Dr Randall and Sleider cooperate...

Suen:
If Corns is light, then Sleider is shadow. They are an underground economic organization.

Eric:
They traffic in drugs, prostitution and human labour. They'll do anything to get money, even make war.

Suen:
[to Cleopatra] I didn't want you to know of such corruption.

Cleopatra:
Thanks, Suen.

Tina Badam:
Doctor Randall is collaborating with the Sleider Group, and they are planning something horrible. The diamond has something to do with it. My brother knew the secret...

Dr. Randall:
I will make Corns fear me! Nobody knows this will be an optical weapon!

Mysterious Woman:
Not just the Corns, but the world!

Dr. Randall:
[fondles the diamond, laughs] Truly a Lethal Weapon! This will burn the world!

Shorty:
Optical weapon?... A laser?

Nacky:
[nods] They will use the diamond as a lens.

Eric:
They will focus sunlight through the diamond, creating a terrible fire.

Tina Badam:
When Pharoah becomes a star, the world will be burned!

Suen:
But how do you reach the stars?

Eric:
They're going to use our shuttle!

Shorty:
What?

Eric:
The shuttle carries a reflector for our experiment! There was a last-minute change in personnel for the mission...!

Shorty:
SH*T!

Suen:
Cleo, what's that?

Cleopatra:
[carrying a bazooka] I thought I should bring this when I saw the Captain...

Suen:
He's a Colonel!

Cleopatra:
Nacky, find anything that can catch up with that shuttle!

Nacky:
Got it!

[Cleo blows up the shuttle]

Cleopatra:
We made it! YAHOO! Pharaoh didn't become a star; it just fell deep, deep into the sea, that's all!

Tina Badam:
[at her brother's grave] The case you were investigating was resolved, by some very wonderful people I met. But now I am all alone... [cries a little]

Cleopatra:
Tina! TINA! [Tina sees Cleo approaching, followed by Suen, Shorty, Eric and Nacky]

Tina Badam:
Brother, I guess I'm not alone after all... Cleo! [runs towards Cleopatra]

Nacky:
You'd better get over here. I found out something important.

Eric:
What did you find?

Nacky:
I saw Doctor Randall, with... that woman.

Shorty:
What?

Eric:
Is that true?

Suen:
[spills her coffee] How terrible!

Cleopatra:
Listen, I have worked for the last six weeks without a break! You understand, don't you? Suen, after the party, we agreed to go on a vacation!

Suen:
[holding documents] I know, Cleo, but you have to check this as soon as possible...

Cleopatra:
If you want to see the unhappiest 16-year-old girl in the world, she's at Manhattan, 62nd St, 48th floor!

Suen:
This document is the updated stock market report the Corns Group prepared for last week. Cleo, you have to make a decision as Chairman of the Corns and respect those who prepared these papers.

Cleopatra:
[spotting a shredder behind Suen] I see... [falsely trips and pushes Suen on the shredder; causing the documents to irretrievably slip inside]

Cleopatra:
Suen, I'm sorry.

Suen:
[chuckles] It's all right. [activates the shredder, but her dress gets caught in it... ]

Cleopatra:
Goodbye my New York! Bon jour Nice!

Sarah:
I am cold.

Sarah:
[in bed] I am cold.

Cleopatra:
It's not cold, it's fear. You are afraid of something. Don't be afraid... [takes her hand]

Cleopatra:
My warmth travels from your hand to your heart... and from your heart, to your whole body, your arms and legs. Your fear will be gone and you will be fine. See? Now, you are okay. May I ask your name?

Sarah:
Sample 127. [hugs Cleo]

Sarah:
It's not cold here.

Cleopatra:
Sample 127... a wonderful name, but difficult to say.

Suen:
[about Sara] Cleo, she is a B.Y.

Cleopatra:
What's that?

Suen:
Born Yesterday. She is a baby - she doesn't have amnesia, but she doesn't have any memories, like a baby born yesterday.

Sarah:
I am a prototype: Sample 127.

Cleopatra:
Prototype?

Sarah:
They tried to kill me...

Cleopatra:
Someone tried to kill you?

Sarah:
Men with white coats... in a lab...

Cleopatra:
Who are you? Play your combat game somewhere else!

Mysterious Woman:
You like American coffee, Cleopatra?

Cleopatra:

Mysterious Woman:
I know everything. [looks at Suen]

Mysterious Woman:
Including the goddess of the boardroom.

[Dr Randall shows Cleo a picture... ]

Cleopatra:
Sara!

Dr. Randall:
We want to cooperate with the Corns Group to locate Sample 127, the human prototype.

Tina:
Human prototype?

Dr. Randall:
Yes. Sample 127 is a human prototype, a product of genetic engineering.

Cleopatra:
She was born from your experiment?

Dr. Randall:
Not mine, but of General Oriega, a weapons merchant. Sample 127 is the only successful prototype with powerful ESP. All other samples failed to operate.

Suen:
What are your plans for the girl?

Dr. Randall:
Get rid of it.

Cleopatra:
[enraged, hurls her coffee cup] Get rid of it? She is a human being! She is a pretty girl who needs care and love!

Mysterious Woman:
Sample 127 is dangerous. If it gets out of control, it'll be more dangerous than a nuclear weapon.

Shorty:
Cleo, we have a big problem! Our oil field in Canada and our mine in South America were destroyed! Our diamond mine in Africa as well!

Cleopatra:
Were they accidents?

Shorty:
I have no idea if it was by missile or guerilla attacks...

Eric:
[at a monitor] We aren't the only ones. The Brennan Corporation gas factory is completely destroyed. Next week it may rain blood on Wall Street.

Shorty:
Cleo, we have to call off DC's search for the girl. We have other concerns now...

Oriega:
[about Sample 127] She will help me conquer the world!

Oriega:
A computer in NORAD controls 30000 nuclear missiles stationed at more than 10 missile bases in North America. If she destroys the computer, guess what will happen? The power balance between the East and West will be changed completely. Everyone in the world will be begging me for weapons at any price!

Sarah:
NORAD... [blows up Oriega's submarine]

Cleopatra:
Sara! Sara, are you there? It's Cleo. Nobody can hurt you anymore! Please wait, I'll be there soon...

Sarah:

Cleopatra:
We can make it. Let's go back. Suen and Tina are waiting for you...

Sarah:
I have no place to go back to. I am not a human being! I am a prototype, Sample 127!

Cleopatra:

Colonel Karts:

[flying away] I'll remember this!

Cleopatra:

Cleopatra:

Suen:
You're Cleopatra. Everything looks good on you.

Mysterious Woman:
There are two DCs in the USA. One is Washington DC, the capital. The other is Corns DC, the economic capital, also known as Cleopatra DC.

Suen:
[to the woman] When she recovers, I will remove the tracking microchip. She won't have her powers anymore; she will be a regular girl. Everything will be gone from her memory. I guess the teleport from underground at NORAD was the last of her power. Don't you want to see her?

Mysterious Woman:
[drives away] She's useless without her powers...

Cleopatra:
[about Sara] Will the Sleider Group try to kill her again?

Suen:
Don't worry. They will never bother her again. Her death was reported; Sample 127 vanished along with the self-destruct system in NORAD.

Cleopatra:
But... that woman knows Sara is alive...

Suen:
Well, Sample 127 was a prototype created from an ovum harvested from a human.

Cleopatra:
And?

Suen:
She's the one who supplied the ovum for the experiment.

Cleopatra:
What?

Sarah:
Cleo... it's good I didn't throw this away. [crushes a cube in her hand, and suddenly wind starts to blow around her... and then fades]

Sarah:
It's not so easy to behave myself... But I like being this way, Cleo! [embraces Cleo]
