[the thieves lock Gabby and Debby in the closet, then take the paintings and leave the old house. Gabby and Debby shake the door, but cannot break it]

Debby Sela:
Gabby, what are we going to do?

Gabby Sela:
I don't know.

Debby Sela:
Those thieves took the paintings. They're bringing them to some ship. They are going to come back here.

Gabby Sela:
I know.

[looking through the cracks in the closet door, Debby sees that the magic stick is only several feet from the closet]

Debby Sela:
Gabby, I see the stick!

Gabby Sela:
Where?

Debby Sela:
Look, it's down on the floor!

[meanwhile, the thieves reach the harbour. The ship is at the dock]

Second thief:
OK, there it is.

First thief:
Are you sure?

Second thief:
Of course I'm sure! Let's go.

[the thieves exit the car, carry the paintings and board the ship. Meanwhile, by using a bent hanger, Gabby and Debby manage to reach the magic stick and pull it under the closet door. While the thieves are on the ship, Gabby and Debby use the magic stick and the newspaper to transport out of the closet]

Gabby Sela:
C'mon, let's go.

Debby Sela:
Where are we going? What are we going to do?

Gabby Sela:
We're going to call the police.

Debby Sela:
There's no phone here.

Gabby Sela:
Let's go home and call the police.

Debby Sela:
What are we going to tell them? Those thieves took the paintings to a ship, and we don't know where the ship is.

Gabby Sela:
You're right.

[Gabby thinks. He sees the map which Debby found earlier and takes it, a plan in his mind]
