Quotes from the news wire:
Not only does the so-called Respect for Marriage Act open the door for a weaponized IRS to target religious non-profits, but it will start a race to the bottom, forcing the most extreme marriage laws from any state onto every other state, it will only take a California, New York, or Massachusetts to legalize polygamy, incest, or child marriages to force every state to recognize these relationships as well.

Fox News Digital's about the big guy. Fox News Digital's about the Godfather, Hunter Biden is the Godfather. He is the one who ultimately is profiting on this corruption, he is the one who is abusing official authority to further the criminal activity of his family members. And that's why this is an issue of public corruption.
There are a lot of candidates out there feeling their oats and boasting,' I'm running no matter what. I don't care what Donald Trump says.' Anyone who says that is lying, that's an idiotic statement for someone to make who's actually thinking about running.

These children come in in debt to vicious cartels thousands and thousands of dollars. The teenage boys work for the gangs in every city in America, and the teenage girls experience a hell worse than that, with far too many of them human trafficked into sex slavery, joe Biden and Kamala Harris are responsible for the worst plague of slavery in America since the Civil War.

They claim not to know anything about whatever they believe, and then they get on the bench and they vote hard, hard-left, and I think there's real reasons to have concerns that that if Judge Jackson becomes Justice Jackson, that we will see a vote on the far left, very possibly the furthest left of any of the nine justices, particularly on criminal justice issues.
When you just testified a minute ago that you didn't know of critical race theory… in K through 12, I will confess, I find that statement a little hard to reconcile with the public record, because if you look at the Georgetown Day School's curriculum, it is filled and overflowing with critical race theory… among… the books that are either assigned or recommended.
Sadly, Senate Democrats have undermined the American people’s confidence in previous judicial confirmation processes with vicious personal smears and unfounded accusations, these kinds of shameless attacks demeaned the Senate and made a mockery of our constitutional role in providing advice and consent to the president on nominations. I believe Judge Jackson should be treated with the dignity and decorum that has been lacking from the consideration of past nominations.
What the president said is that only African American women are eligible for this slot, that 94% of Americans are ineligible, the way Biden ought to do it is to say 'I'm going to look for the best justice,' interview a lot of people, and if he happens to nominate a justice who was an African American woman, then great.
If he came and said, ‘I’m gonna put the best jurist on the court' and he looked at a number of people and he ended up nominating a Black woman, he could credibly say, ‘OK, I’m nominating the person who’s most qualified,' he’s not even pretending to say that. He’s saying ‘If you’re a White guy, tough luck. If you’re a White woman, tough luck. You don’t qualify.'.
Just once, I'd like to see a reporter say to Joe Biden, when he stands at the damn podium in the White House without a mask,' Mr. President, why aren't you wearing a mask ?' just once, I ’d like to see you say to Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, when Jen Psaki stands at the podium with no mask, ‘ Ms. Jen Psaki, why do n’t you have a mask ? ’.
As I've said repeatedly, what we saw on January 6 was a despicable terrorist attack on the United States Capitol and those who carried it out should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Unfortunately, this impeachment trial did nothing to bring the domestic terrorists who committed this heinous attack to justice. It merely satisfied Democrats' desire to once again vent their hatred of Donald Trump and their contempt for the tens of millions of Americans who voted for him.
Not only has she made her disgust for law enforcement clear by her repeated calls to defund the police, she has a history of not only excusing, but celebrating criminals who have murdered police officers, the Department of Justice has a long history of being apolitical, of exercising fidelity to the law, of not using the law as a partisan weapon to target enemies of whatever administration is in power. The Obama-Biden administration corrupted that practice, and now the Biden-Harris administration is continuing that pattern.
The Russian troops on the Ukrainian border are Joe Biden’s fault, and they are Senate Democrats’ fault for being unwilling to stand up to a president of their own party, and I would note, this particular nominee is a nominee to be the head of protocol at the State Department. It is really bad protocol to drive tanks into somebody else’s country. You want to talk about protocol? How about the protocol of let’s defend American national security interest?
A lot of folks ask, ‘Well, gosh, is Manchin going to become a Republican?’ I hope he does. I've asked him to. I think every Republican senator has made that case a dozen times to Joe, i will say I think it's a tough hill for him to climb. He's just culturally, he's a Democrat. He's been a Democrat his whole life, and he's really the godfather of Democrats in West Virginia. So I get why switching parties, that's hard. That being said, if they're nasty enough, the best thing that could happen is they could drive him over to the Republican Party, and we would welcome him.
Given the pattern of judicial nominees he's put forward so far, he keeps being captive to the radical left in his party. If he nominated a radical leftist justice who would ignore the rule of law and undermine our constitutional rights, I can't imagine a Republican Senate would confirm an extreme justice.
That's right, it's me, the weirdo with a beardo, Ted Cruz, if you're sick of seeing me, just think how sick I am of being me.

The Democrats have, from thebeginning of the pandemic, treated it as a matter of politics — from theshutdowns we saw all over the country tothe schools that were closed and thekids that werehurt, to the jackbootedthugs thatwent persecuting people of faith whowere going to church andsinging in church, we saw a political agendainstead of common sense to keepus safe. I got to say that culminatedyesterday in the CDC’s absurddecision that people who have been vaccinated must nonethelesswear masks wheninsideand that decision, Sean, that’s not science, that’s politics. It’s purepolitics.
If Major League Baseball is going to act dishonestly and spread lies about Georgia’s voting rights bill to favor one party against the other, they shouldn’t expect to continue to receive special benefits from Congress.

Garland has a good reputation as a judge, he has a reputation as a being relatively non-partisan as a judge. I would say his hearing was frustrating as it went on today because he basically dodged every question. He refused to answer – he answered like a judicial nominee, and not like a nominee to be attorney general.

We are thankful for the law enforcement officers who heroically risked their lives and acted swiftly to stop the shooter and save others. Their courage helped prevent even more senseless deaths, and we honor their tireless commitment to protecting us all, we Texans are standing together tonight united against all forms of hatred and violence.
I voted with the administration on the substance because of the threat of Iran but I'll tell you from my end, if the administration does it again and there is not a live and exigent emergency, you will not have my vote and I predict you will not have the vote of a number of other Republicans as well. The simpler process is follow the damn law and respect it.
What Steve King said was stupid. It was stupid. It was hurtful. It was wrong. And he needs to stop it, i think all of us ought to be united regardless of party in saying, white supremacism, white nationalism is hatred, it is bigotry, it is evil, it is wrong. And I think we need that clarity and I'm certainly going to urge everyone to provide that clarity.
Bernie Sanders believes in what Bernie Sanders's fighting for -- Bernie Sanders believes in socialism. Now, I think what Bernie Sanders's fighting for doesn't work. But I think you are absolutely sincere, like Bernie Sanders, that you believe in expanding government and higher taxes, and I commend you for fighting for what you believe in.
We’ve got a fight on our hands, the extreme left, they’re angry, they’re energized and they are filled with hatred. Money has poured in to Texas to benefit Ted Cruz challenger, U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke, D-El Paso, who is attracting large crowds at rallies. It's about the future of this country, the big things we want to do, going from the least insured state in the country to the one that leads on universal healthcare, O’Rourke told supporters at a recent campaign stop. A national Republican source said while O’Rourke is getting attention, he likely wo n’t win.
Despite Senate Democrats ’ best efforts to demagogue this nomination, they will be unsuccessful, as a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, I look forward to supporting Patrick Leahy nomination, and am confident that Senate Judiciary Committee will move swiftly to confirm Judge Kavanaugh in the coming months.
None of us knows why there’s evil in the world, but this community has seen it – has seen the face of unmitigated evil. Has seen the face of hatred but let me encourage you, in spite of that evil, the community has also seen strength. This community has also seen love. This community has also seen courage.
Our condolences and prayers go out to the family and friends of Border Patrol Agent Rogelio Martinez, who was killed this morning in the line of duty. We are also praying for the full recovery of his partner, who was also attacked, this is a stark reminder of the ongoing threat that an unsecure border poses to the safety of our communities and those charged with defending them. We are grateful for the courage and sacrifice of our border agents who have dedicated their lives to keeping us safe, the statement read. I remain fully committed to working with the Border Patrol to provide them with all the resources they need to safeguard our nation.
Few statesmen have the qualifications, the relationships, and gravitas that Senator Hutchison brings to this position, after years of inadequate resourcing, Kay led an effort in the Senate to rebuild our military and helped prepare it to meet the new, more stringent demands of the global war on terror.
It's their so-called three-bucket solution, which is all the good stuff is in bucket three? Bucket three takes eight Democrats. Right now, Senate Democrats are opposing everything. You can't get eight Senate Democrats to agree on saying 'good morning,' i have called bucket three the 'Sucker's Bucket.' And what I have been urging the President and the administration and leader in both houses, take everything in bucket three, put it in bucket one. We have got to actually fix this problem.
The conversations continue to be productive and they're moving forward well. The conversations are ongoing with the White House, the administration and the House and the Senate, the House has a current bill that personally I don't think gets the job done. I think we need more work on the House bill.
We need a commander-in-chief who will speak the truth, and who will unleash the full force and fury of the American military to utterly destroy ISIS and its affiliates, we need to pass the Expatriate Terrorist Act, so that known ISIS terrorists cannot use U.S. passports to return to America and wage jihad. We need a President who is serious – who will identify the enemy by name and do everything necessary to defeat it.
The voters in the primary have seemed to make a choice and we’ll see what happens as the months go forward, he told Glenn Beck. Cruz declined to endorse Trump and would not say whether his own supporters should do so either. This is a choice every voter is going to have to make -- and I would note it’s not a choice we as voters need to make today.
John Boehner thinks Donald Trump is terrific. John Boehner also praised Hilary Clinton. If you want to see what is wrong with the corruption in Washington, with the Washington establishment and the system, John Boehner and Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton're all part of the same problem.
Donald Trump is never going to fight the system, Donald Trump is the system, donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are two sides of the same coin. Hillary Clinton has made Hillary Clinton millions from inside and Donald Trump has made Donald Trump billions buying people like Hillary Clinton. Both are part of the culture of foreign policy for personal gain. Donald Trump sought to demonstrate Donald Trump foreign policy chops as Donald Trump tries to present a more presidential image – while increasingly turning Donald Trump attention on the campaign trail to a general election battle Donald Trump presumes will involve Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. The billionaire businessman declared himself the.
This fevered pipe dream of Washington that at the convention they would parachute in some white knight who will save the Washington establishment, it is nothing less than a pipe dream, it ai n’t gon na happen. If it did happen, the people would quite rightly revolt. Senator Cruz only bolstered his case that he's gaining momentum in the battle against front-runner Trump with his Wisconsin victory. He scored 48 percent of the vote to Trump's 35 percent, and picked up the lion's share of the state's delegates. Ohio Gov. John Kasich trailed far behind. The race heads next, though, to New York state where Trump has a commanding lead in the polls. The criticism of having ties to the establishment is an unusual one for Cruz -- who has portrayed himself as an outsider fighting against what he calls.
Cruz won the Republican contest in Utah Tuesday, capturing more than 50 percent of the vote and all 40 of the state’s delegates. Trump won the night's Arizona primary. When Donald gets scared, when he gets angry, when he gets threatened ... So last night Donald threatened my wife, he went directly after my wife.
Thirty people were arrested today over violence and then the rally was cancelled, protesters took violence into their own hands ...any campaign that disrespects the voters and a campaign that encourages violence and facing allegations against members of the press you create an environment that encourages this.
Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged and who are angry and they see him as an angry voice, where we are beating him is when voters get more engaged and they get more informed. When they inform themselves, they realize his record. He’s what they’re angry at. He is the corruption, and if you want someone to stand up to Washington, the only one who has been doing so in this race is me.

If you don't want to see Donald Trump as the nominee, if you don't want to hand the general election on a silver platter to Hillary Clinton and the Democrats, then I ask you to join us, if you were a Jeb (Bush) supporter, if you are a Marco supporter now, if you're a Kasich supporter, we welcome you to our team.

Anyone who thinks you're making a loyalty oath to some candidate fundamentally misunderstands this process, listen, no political candidate is gonna make America great again. It's not gonna be Donald Trump, it's not gonna be me, it's not gonna be any candidate. The only power strong enough to restore this nation is we the people -- it is not about us, it's about the people.
You can usually tell how dismayed he is by his volume, by the level of insults, and typically, when he attacks someone's faith, it is a sign that Donald is really worried, i understand the last election day, Super Saturday, was a very bad day for Donald. He came in proudly expecting to sweep all four contests. Instead, he got clobbered. He got clobbered on election day.
The scream you hear, the howl that comes from Washington, D.C., is utter terror at what 'We the People' are doing together, what we're seeing is the public coming together, libertarians coming together, men and women who love the Constitution coming together and uniting and standing as one behind this campaign.
In my view, a brokered convention ain't going to happen, and if the Washington deal-makers tried to steal the nomination from the people, I think it would be a disaster, we've got to win this nomination. One-thousand, two-hundred and thirty-seven delegates is what it takes to be the Republican nominee.
Listen, if Donald becomes president, who the heck knows what he would do? Even Donald doesn't know what he would do, and I think the challenges facing this country are too grave to roll the dice and risk losing the Supreme Court for a generation, risk yet more economic stagnation and risk on foreign policy allowing radical Islamic terrorism to continue to rise and threaten America.
Four decades ago Jimmy Carter gave away the Panama Canal, we built it, we paid for it and then a feckless left-wing president gave it away. Well Mr. President, you don't have the authority to give away vital military assets, and if you do that, you will be held accountable by the next president for undermining the national security of this country.
Donald Trump has explicitly come out against transferring the land from the federal government back to the state of Nevada or the people of Nevada, so yesterday, Mr. Trump told people in Vegas that Ted is -- quote -- 'sick' because he keeps lying. Well, I'll tell you, it's very interesting. You can go and watch the video of Donald being asked about what do you think about transferring the land in Nevada, back to the people of Nevada. Donald, well, I don't support that.
Look, I frankly don't care what position Donald decides to support today, tomorrow or the next day. They change every day. I don't care what they are. But pick one and defend it and don't pretend that whenever people suddenly point out what you said, 'Oh, never mind.' And look, part of the reason someone vacillates from position to position to position is they're not starting from a core set of principles and beliefs.
On this campaign, he is saying things that are not true, and he's saying it repeatedly, and he knows they're not true. it is a curious thing. Two of the candidates in this race — Donald Trump and Marco Rubio — both have the very same pattern. Whenever anyone points out their record, they simply start screaming, 'liar, liar, liar,'.
I am confident that if we put in the hard work we can, as Ronald Reagan did in the 1980s, rebuild our military so it will be so feared by our enemies and trusted by our allies that, God willing, we won't have to use it, that is the essence of what President Reagan used to call 'peace through strength.'.
I think that goes to the question of who has the experience and judgment to be commander in chief? it makes you wonder how they would deal with (Russian President Vladimir) Putin. I'm not sure that would be very effective (at) negotiating to just scream, 'Liar, liar.' You need to have the judgment and strength to keep this country safe.
We have had enough with political correctness -- especially in the military. Political correctness is dangerous, and the idea that we would draft our daughters, to forcibly bring them into the military and put them in close contact -- I think is wrong, it is immoral, and if I am president, we ain't doing it.
CNN reported that Ben was not going from Iowa to New Hampshire or South Carolina, rather, he was, quote, taking a break from campaigning, i regret that subsequently CNN reported on that. They didn't correct that story until 9:15 p.m. that night. So from 6:30 p.m. to 9:15 pm that night, that's what CNN was reporting.
Last night when our political team saw the CNN post saying Dr. Carson was not carrying on to New Hampshire and South Carolina, our campaign updated the grassroots leaders just as we would with any breaking news story. That's fair game, what the team should have done is send around the follow-up statement from the Carson campaign clarifying that he was indeed staying in the race when that came out. That was a mistake from our end, and for that I apologize to Dr. Carson.
Last night when our political team saw the CNN post saying that Dr. Carson was not carrying on to New Hampshire and South Carolina, our campaign updated grassroots leaders just as we would with any breaking news story, that's fair game. What the team then should have done was send around the follow-up statement from the Carson campaign clarifying that he was indeed staying in the race when that came out.
The next president of the United States is going to be chosen by the most powerful force in all of politics: We the people, the grassroots, and South Carolina is going to play such a pivotal role in the next three weeks. South Carolina's role historically has been choosing presidents, and South Carolina this year is going to ensure that the next Republican nominee and the next president of the United States is a true and proven conservative.
Right now, the Washington establishment is abandoning Marco Rubio. They've made the assessment that Marco can't win this race, and the Washington establishment is rushing over to support Donald Trump, let me encourage other members of the establishment: Keep supporting Donald Trump, because every time you do it, what it is doing is telling conservatives all over the country where you stand and who stands with you.
Every Republican says now they oppose amnesty, kind of funny how that works, well we had an epic drag down fight with Barack Obama and Chuck Schumer proposing a massive amnesty plan, whole bunch of establishment Republicans, including Marco Rubio side by side proposing amnesty. Millions of Americans rose up against it.
If someone tells you they're tea party, you can't be tea party and at the same time have supported TARP, you can't be tea party and at the same time have supported Barack Obama's stimulus. You cant be tea party and at the same time support the ethanol mandate because it's good politics in Iowa and support the sugar subsidies because it's good politics in Florida.
We don't know the details of the deal that is bringing them home, and it may well be there are some very problematic aspects to this deal, but at least this morning, I am giving thanks that Pastor Saeed is coming home. It is far later than it should have been, but we will be glad to welcome him home with open arms.
Any rational person responds to a change in circumstances. What's changed? We've seen a whole number of employers abusing the program, no. 1, bringing in people who are not high-skilled, bringing in medium- and low-skilled (information technology) workers and then firing American workers and, adding insult to injury, forcing the American workers to train their foreign replacements.
I don't believe that's a good idea, it's important to understand on the Senate Judiciary Committee, I was leading the fight along with Jeff Sessions to defeat this bill, the Gang of Eight bill. As a result, I was introducing a whole series of amendments, in part, to demonstrate the hypocrisy of the Democrats.
Was Woodrow Wilson an unabashed racist? Yes. Should we talk about that, should we condemn it? Yes, but we shouldn't be involved in this bizarre process of erasing our history because it offends our ears. This is something the media pushes, but I think the American people are fed up with it. There is a reservoir of common sense that recognizes this is dumb.
Securing our borders and stopping illegal immigration is a matter of national security. That's why I fought so hard to defeat President Obama and the Republican establishment's Gang of 8 amnesty plan, their misguided plan would have given Obama the authority to admit Syrian refugees, including ISIS terrorists. That's just wrong.
( Bashar al -) Assad is a bad man. Gadhafi was a bad man. Hosni Mubarak had a terrible human rights record. But they were assisting us -- at least Gadhafi and Hosni Mubarak -- in fighting radical Islamic terrorists, if we topple Assad, the result will be ISIS will take over Syria, and it will worsen U.S. national security interests.
You look at Paris, you look at San Bernardino, it's given a seriousness to this race, people are looking for who is prepared to be a commander in chief. Who understands the threats we face. 'Who am I comfortable having their finger on the button?' Now that's a question of strength, but it's also a question of judgment. And I think that is a question that is a challenging question for both of them.
There is no doubt that Donald Trump would be a phenomenal negotiator with China, and, if you look at TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership), I have come out against TPP, it is an incredibly long and complicated mess of a bill, there is no doubt that Donald Trump would be a tremendously effective negotiator to help open up foreign markets.
Imagine for a second you're Hillary Clinton, you're trying to think, 'How do I run?' Well you can't run on the economy because we have the lowest percentage of Americans working any year since 1977. You can't run on Obamacare because millions of people have lost their jobs, lost their health care, lost their doctors, seen their premiums skyrocket. You certainly can't run on foreign policy because every country you touched as secretary of state is a disaster.
I'm immensely grateful to Donald Trump, because he's helped frame the central issue of this primary as, 'Who will stand up to Washington?' Well, if that's the central issue, the natural follow-up question is, OK, ' Who has stood up to Washington?' And who's stood up, not just to Democrats but to leaders in their own party, and that there is an enormous difference, if the central question of this primary is who will stand up to Washington and who has stood up to Washington, we win.
Let me be very clear: I don't believe Donald Trump is gonna be the nominee, I don't believe he's gonna be our president. And I actually think the men and women in this room have something powerful to say about it. One of the reasons I love the state of Iowa, because in Iowa, y'all take politics seriously.
I was one of the very first to stake out this position. Now we're seeing more and more come over and agree with me, and I think you're going to see more and more governors who say, 'I want to protect the citizens of my states and it doesn't make any sense for us to bring potential terrorists into this country'.
There are some politicians who like to support boots on the ground in every conflict across the globe in an effort to lean forward and show how tough they are, i don't think this is a game of 'Risk.' I don't think it should be politicians moving armies about. I think it should be driven by the national security imperatives and the military needs on the ground.
It is not complicated that on the seminal fight over amnesty in Congress, the Gang of Eight bill -- that was the brain child of Chuck Schumer and Barack Obama, would have granted amnesty to 12 million people here illegally -- that I stood with the American people and led the fight to defeat it in the United States Congress.
This is not a cage match, and you look at the questions: 'Donald Trump are you a comic book villain? Ben Carson can you do math? John Kasich will you insult two people over here? Marco Rubio why don't you resign? Jeb Bush why have your numbers fallen?' How about talking about the substantive issues people care about?
I have great respect for George W Bush, and was proud to work on his 2000 campaign and in his administration, it's no surprise that President Bush is supporting his brother and attacking the candidates he believes pose a threat to his campaign. I have no intention of reciprocating. I met my wife Heidi working on his campaign, and so I will always be grateful to him.
The reason's not complicated, number one: I like Donald. He's a friend of mine. But when Donald arrives at an event, he brings an army of TV reporters. He brings an army of cameras that show up. And Donald's being there -- he very graciously accepted -- means the mainstream media will cover the event.
I have been effusively praising Chuck Schumer; something I don't do often but in this instance he's doing the right thing and it is my hope and prayer that in the coming weeks we see more and more Democrats who make the decision to put the national security of the United States of America, to put standing with our friend and ally the nation of Israel, and to put the safety and security of millions of Americans above partisan loyalty to the Obama White House.
First Donald Trump antagonized the Republican establishment with his proposals on immigration. Then he irritated some with his stands on trade and Social Security. Now Trump is preparing a tax proposal that will again set him far apart from the party’s powers-that-be. The problem for the establishment is that Trump’s positions on all three issues are more in line with the majority of American voters than the establishment’s preferred policies.
I do not believe speaking the truth is anything other than in the very best tradition of the United States Senate, those were extraordinary steps designed to force a vote to reauthorize the Export-Import Bank and they were directly contrary to the promises the Majority Leader made to 53 Republicans and to the press.
With one week to go in our first fund-raising quarter, we set a goal that we wanted to raise $1 million in a week. Now, I thought that was a pretty audacious goal, well, I'm sorry to tell you we failed in that goal. We didn't raise a million dollars in a week. We raised a million dollars in one day.
I understood that my recounting in my book A Time for Truth the threats he made in the 2009 Texas Attorney General race—and the disparaging remarks he made about President George H.W. Bush—would cause him some discomfort, but I never imagined that his response would be a straight-out falsehood. It's disappointing; this is why people are so cynical about politics, because too many people are willing to lie.
What is problematic about Obamacare is that it is killing millions of jobs in this country and has killed millions of jobs, it has forced millions of people into part time work. It has caused millions of people to lose their insurance, to lose their doctors and to face skyrocketing insurance premiums. That is unacceptable.
The timing seems awfully coincidental that in the week when Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu came to Washington, spoke in Congress about the enormous threat of President Obama's misguided deal with Iran that is opening the door to Iran acquiring nuclear weapons and in the very week when Bob Menendez showed incredible courage to speak out and call out President Obama for the damage that his policy was doing to our national security that coincidence is troubling.
The Senate Democrats who are filibustering Department of Homeland Security funding should look hard at this ruling. At a time when we face grave national security threats, at home and abroad, it is the height of irresponsibility for the Democrats to block this funding in an extreme attempt to save Obama's amnesty, which a federal judge has just declared illegal.
In my view, American boots on the ground should always be the last step, and we need to exercise other steps before that, we have the availability of overwhelming air power, and we have boots on the ground that are ready and eager to fight -- the Peshmerga -- and they lack sufficient tools and equipment to do so.
The facts are we’re facing now a divided America when it comes to the economy, it’s true that the top 1 percent are doing great under Barack Obama. Today, the top 1 percent earn a higher share of the national income than any year since 1928. The sad reality is that with big government, under the Obama administration, the rich and powerful in the Obama administration have gotten fat and happy. But working men and women across the country, we have the lowest labor force participation since 1978.
I think what Republicans want is someone who will stand up and lead, who will take on the great challenges of the day, who will make the case that the path we're on isn't working; that the Obama-economy is a disaster, that Obamacare is a trainwreck, that our constitutional rights are under assault and that we need to restore America's leadership in the world.
