Quotes from the news wire:
I think the focus is marijuana crimes, in my mind, right, we spend — this may be the stupidest expenditure of federal money in taxpayer money in the history of our country. You get caught with marijuana, then you end up in prison. That's insane for us. We should tax the marijuana and put it into addiction treatment, we should use it to keep fentanyl and these hardcore drugs out of our country, out of our society. We should invest in the shop class, we should invest into early childhood education.
We can’t be silent on this BS that we’ve seen over this past several months of just setting up a camera at a school board meeting and having someone sign you in and a politician goes in there that has no other interest in that school district other than on demagoguing on whatever particular issue, we gotta call people out….
There’s a lot of people out there making 30, 40 grand a year that didn’t go to college. And they need help as well, which is why I’ve been proposing a tax cut for working people that will affect everybody, with the student loan piece [in my proposal], you could very easily allow them to negotiate — renegotiate down the interest rates.
Instead of forgiving student loans for six-figure earners, we should be working to level the playing field for all Americans.

The fentanyl crisis is killing our kids and devastating our communities, there is not a corner of Ohio that has not been affected by this epidemic in some way. We cannot look away as this crisis worsens. It’s time we take a whole-of-government approach to fight it. That means using every resource we have at our disposal to get this off the streets and out of our neighborhoods.

A lot of it is the supply chain, a lot of it is the war, i just don't think we can look working-class people in the eye and say, ‘Look, you gotta bear the brunt of this while the oil companies are making huge amounts of money, while these other corporations are making huge amounts of money.’.

China has been a bad actor and everyone knows it — from continuing to stonewall on the WHO investigation of COVID-19 origins to perpetrating genocide and committing mass humans rights violations,’ i’m glad to see the Biden Administration take steps to hold China accountable, but this diplomatic boycott does not go far enough.
The vaccine issue( distribution) would be affected by this. That’s just food for thought about the ripple effect happening because of what we’re dealing with in Washington, it will probably take away from some of the vaccine distribution in some of the states if we call on them.

I didn’t hear any calls for restraint from Director Mulvaney when the Administration used taxpayer dollars to buy a $43,000 phone booth or a $31,000 dining room table. Where is Director Mulvaney while the Administration is piling-up private jet costs and taking $120,000 Italian vacations — all on the government dime?
Director Mulvaney should turn his calls for spending restraint toward the Trump Administration’s mounting spending scandals involving the obscene waste of taxpayer money, i didn’t hear any calls for restraint from Director Mulvaney when the Administration used taxpayer dollars to buy a $43,000 phone booth or a $31,000 dining room table. This all started by people calling me, not me calling people, i think there was some attraction to somebody from Youngstown, Ohio, who was sent all around the country for Hillary Clinton to talk to union workers and try and connect with people that I know how to connect with.
