I had to bring myself up since I was 12. Who needs to be corrupted by the education system? I've tried many schools, private ones, was heavily into Steiner schooling for a bit but in the end I needed my own education. Yes I've crawled back to the education system back in the nineties but it was merely in order to receive a "title" -degree- more than anything else. Reading is good but it's hard to make choices: plenty of bad read about. The human being needs to make his/her/it own choices and learn accordingly. The education system nowadays is nothing but an expensive and dodgy cult. Trust me: I'm an expert on religions.
