[Gabby is in his room, building airplane toy. Debby enters the room, turning the light on]

Debby Sela:
Gabby, where's the radio?

Gabby Sela:
Why? What's the matter?

Debby Sela:
There was an accident in a mine.

Gabby Sela:
An accident? What happened?

Debby Sela:
I'm not sure. I just heard about it outside. There's a news report on the radio.

[Debby turns the radio on]

Newscaster:
...in a coal mine in Kingston, Penssylvania. The accident happened an hour ago. Twenty workers were in the mine. Nineteen got out. One of the miners is still in the mine. He can't move because a large piece of wood fell on top of him. He can't breathe very well because there isn't enough air where he is.

Debby Sela:
That's terrible!

[Gabby shushed her]

Newscaster:
A rescue team went down into the mine a few minutes ago, but a lot of wood and rocks fell during the accident. The rescue team isn't sure that it can get to the miner.
