After the Brett Kavanaugh fight is when I first got introduced to [Mystal], because like so many people, after Brett Kavanaugh, we were all looking around and saying, ‘How do we pick up the pieces and move on from here?’ and people at esteemed outlets like Above The Law, which is read by all these lawyers at … big corporate firms.
Justice Breyer’s service on the court has been remarkable, and history will remember him even more fondly if he ends up playing a critical role in ensuring the appointment of the first Black woman to the court, timing his retirement in the coming year would guarantee that opportunity, and it would be wise to do so because the window may prove a narrow one.

There's never been any sort of embrace from any sort of representative of the establishment wing of the party signaling that it's OK to be for Bernie, so you could say,' Oh,( The Sanders campaign) should have done that in that week in between Nevada and South Carolina' ;' They should've tried to signal that there's a coalescing happening.' But really you can't pull that together in one week's time.

I thought it was very cringe-worthy on many levels. Elizabeth Warren doesn't need Bill de Blasio's advice on what's good for the progressive movement, i don't even think it's true, what he tried to say at the end of the tweet, that if the situation were reversed Bernie would have endorsed her already. I don't think that's true at all.

There will be a couple debates in the next 10 days and I am sure some of those differences they have will manifest themselves and surface again, but in a phase of the campaign where we are not truly running a national campaign and in some of these states she has the opportunity to be there only for a brief period, we are going to lead with our affirmative message.
Two months ago, there was a political report that directly challenged the finding of this inspector general, and I don't think he liked that very much. So I think he put two Republican senators up to sending him a letter so he would have an excuse to resurface the same allegations he made back in the summer that had been discredited.
Hillary Clinton is deeply troubled by the shooting of Laquan McDonald and the outstanding questions related to both the shooting and the video, mayor Emanuel's call for a task force to review practices of the Chicago Police Department is an important step, but given the gravity of this tragic situation, she supports a full review by the Department of Justice.
At this point, Republicans are trying to exploit the scandal to try to score partisan points and push an ideological agenda to privatize the VA, republicans are trying to suggest the only solution to the VA's problems is to privatize it, but Hillary Clinton will not apologize for insisting on doing the hard work to reform the VA, rather than ending it altogether.
