Jess Harper sets out to warn U.S. Marshall Branch McGary of a planned ambush of the tumbleweed wagon carrying murderer Vern Buchner. Jess winds up getting shot in the chest. McGary & his deputy Reb Carleton put Jess in the wagon to take him to a doctor in Ironwood. After Buchner mouths off to Reb (riding in the wagon) who says:
